Arsenal (H) | Post Match Thread

3 bookable offences during the match - not booked once. How the fuck did Oliver let him get away with it?
Simple! That's what Oliver has done since he started. Mind, he's not the only whistling wanker who seems to think only sky blue players deserve a booking. The most laughable was five minutes after booking Rodri he sees nothing wrong in Haarland getting taken out. Rodri was booked a few games back when Sooper Hooper started counting up the fouls, two of which belonged to John Stones(!), and how many serial-offending Arse players escaped when they'd clouted one of ours with the intention of making sure our man wasn't around to figure in the 'denouement' of the move?

Who did Partey not get booked in the first half, then when he was booked committed a yellow offence straight after! Not even subtle anymore.

We've had umpteen teams turn up and get treated like royalty by refs. City players have been 'kicking off' more this season than any I can remember, and it's down to refs not treating our players the same way as the opposition. How many times have away teams kicked the shite out of Bernardo, and he's ended up getting booked 'cos he has a pop, instead of the ref booking the opposition thug? How many of our players take one for the team only for an opposition player getting fuck all for the same offence?

He might not have put a couple of his chances away but in terms of his all round play, I thought that was Haaland’s best game for City and by a distance.

His hold up play & lays offs were near perfection and he always seemed to make the right choice as to where he was placing the ball to.

He totally deserved his goal in the end and he’s only going to get better and that will scare the shit out of our opponents.
