Arsenal Post Match Thread.

Generally the passing was very average but having had some time to reflect, I think all the teams who had a lot of players away on international duty suffered this weekend. Obviously Chelsea's loss, our draw, United's draw, Liverpool won, but the Everton team was a semi youth team. Spurs were the only side who had a really good result, maybe because they're all much younger and recovered quicker, I don't know, but I do think the Intl. break was a form killer.
I think you may be right, and if you are, we can expect some "funny" results tomorrow and Wednesday again. I guess it is too much to hope for Everton to do anything.

He's not the same level as Silva as a number 10. Kevin show glimpses of brilliance, the ball for Sane's goal yesterday being a prime example; but he doesn't have then athleticism or physicality to play in midfield. I'd play him wide right instead of the very limited Rahim Sterling. For me nobody crosses a better ball in the whole of the premier league, and like a certain David Beckham, he doesn't need to beat his full back and get to the by-line to do it.
This.

With respect thats utter drivel and based on absolutely nothing but revisionism.

Must be the word of the day "revisionism"

With respect,, I'll form my own opinions and share them... it's what forums are for and based on my own version of the 1st amendment (humour me, just back from NYC)

Feel free to ignore my posts or disagree with them...

I haven't trawled through all 77 pages of this thread (yes, 77) but skimming over it and reading pages here and there I'm astonished, and not a little suspicious as to the identity of the posters, about the amounts of posts saying Pep is this, Pep is that. Not qualified by comments like "in this game he was caught short", "we could have done better, he should have made this substitution", no, just comments that make it sound as though Pep has somehow been "found out" in some kind of permanent way. Well fuck me sideways, you'd think we were not in the semi-final of the Cup and still on track to make top four in Pep's first season. In fact, you could pick quite a lot of posts off here, and if you didn't know the result, you'd definitely assume we lost. By two or three clear goals, at that. I've got annoyed in the past with people seeming to object to any kind of criticism of Pep, but some of the stuff on this thread is unbelievable. No, that's right, he didn't inherit a team like Barcelona or Bayern, not vaguely close, so yeah, he got some help there, and he's not a magician, but if anyone can build us into a team approaching their level, it's him, and nobody else on this planet. Keep some faith, for God's sake!

CLASSIC!!!

And, just another reason players have SO LITTLE RESPECT for referees! They KNOW that refs bottle big decisions, and get so frustrated during the heat of battle, is it any wonder they storm over to the ref when he bottles it?!

Video ref...would he have given it? Maybe, maybe not, but THREE PLAYERS KNOW IT WAS CLUMSY AND DELIBERATE, AND TOOK THE BALL AWAY FROM A PLAYER A FEW YEARDS FROM GOAL!!
