I said he's the only one of the leading scorers in the PL with zero assists. thought that was obvious that PL was Premier League and so talking about that competition? I guess I wasn't clear enough. But anyway you say he has had two assists, official records don't show that? I agree with you however that he does contribute in other ways, no doubt, but assists for an attacking player are part of an 'all round game' don't you think, and I was just commenting on that. Wish I hadn't bothered now

I read it as "he has no assists". If you would have said "he has no assists in the league" I wouldn't have even replied.

I'm not bothered about assists. Getting really pissed off with people having a pop at Aguero. He always scored goals and is putting in the work rate he was asked to do. He know Gabriel Jesus looked fantastic and in the 3 or 4 games he played for City, but Aguero has done it year in year out. AnyOne that criticises him or wants him to be replaced is a fool.

Talk about splitting hairs. We're watching a different player.I take issue with this statement. I agree his goal scoring is as good as ever, but 'all-round game'? He is the only leading goal scorer in the PL with zero assists.

It pathetic isn't it really. Week in week out the guy scores (26 this season) and yet he still gets criticised while other players, the current darlings, get a free pass to miss chance after chance or, unlike Aguero, hide from goal scoring positions. Yes he will miss chances, like all Strikers, but at least he has the bottle to get in the positions.
