Great win. Clinical in the first half. Some very good performances and bizarrely, despite putting in a top class effort Gundogan was still getting it in the match day thread from some posters. He was excellent today.
Despite scoring in the first half Sterling was off form again. Needs a rest.
Pretty tight at the back as well at a ground where the home team very rarely fail to score.
A bit of a confidence booster.

I didn't understand why he took Foden off, I would have hooked Sterling instead.
Great performance though and wonderful first-half from Kevin I wish City players would take shots from outside the box more often instead of continually trying to walk it in.

Did you watch Niles and Pepe bombing forward in their last game? I thought they were decent, obviously not today, we seemed to stifle them with a short press, like we used to do. It stopped the space in- to out.
Pleased to see Mendy looking a bit sharper. He still needs to get his positioning sorted as he’s been caught out a few times.

I think it could be the psychological "trauma" of knowing the game is rigged. After that, Wenger had a sudden volte-face from eleven hard bastards who could play football to eleven who could play football but lacked the psyche of his previous incarnation. A wild hypothesis I know but I've a feeling theses things happen in life. I believe City players have been affected too but there's a steel at City that is a force to be reckoned with.
