Arsenal thread 2011/12

Re: Arsenal Thread

Since when are Spurs better than Arsenal? Come off it.
We won a great game against Spurs, RAGs thrashed Arsenal.

Two great games, no need to turn this into more bitter old City and run down the RAGS like the old days.
This is our day. This will be our year. Why not celebrate. We'll do the RAGs one when we meet them.
Win 5 goals, 8 goals, even 1 goal, still results in 3 points.

A great win for both sides, and we'll beat them when it matters.

take a look at the line-ups for the two teams today it's quite clear

Re: Arsenal Thread

I think for Arsenal to improve quickly they need to get some signings in quickly

Arteta
Jagielka
Diarra
Cahill

Would all improve Arsenal very quickly and are all very realistic targets for the club.

Re: Arsenal Thread

Arsenal will stabilize and improve when their injury/suspension list clears up - at least good enough to beat 2/3 of the league, but without serious investment they will struggle for 4th place let alone challenge for the title. They are already nearly three wins behind us and the rags and even though the season has just started, that is not good for them.

Can't see Everton selling both players even if they offered 50m for both think your right though those 4 players are the type of players they need

Re: Arsenal Thread

Too early to write Arsenal off. They have had a hard start to the season and loosing some of there players for a few games didnt help them.

Scott Dann or Cahill will go to them for certain maybe both. I think he might even look at Parker if he is not already gone. He has to spend money now and he will that midfield need experience. Also when they do get back there players they were missing they will be a hell of a lot better than they are. Sometimes you need to get smashed by a team and start again it will be a slow build but they will be in the running for the top 4 places. Wenger is too good of a coach not to get a team up to that level.

Arshavin...what happened?

Looked a world beater when arsenal chased him..barca sniffing around, looked great in first season.

Then this.....so what has gone wrong?
