When i saw the topic,i thought fukn hell..44-0,was this a friendly.
Anelka 12,Kolo 5,Sami 7,Ade 9,Gael 2,Henry 7,Seaman 2....
could have been 47-0,but rvp missed 3 penalties ;)

Fabregas?

Anelka was more than 7 years ago so isn't included.

Re: Arsenal 0 - Old Boys 44

I am great friends with lots Arsenal fans and really cannot stand them. Hopefully this article will make them see sense. Yes RVP was out of order to go to Manchester United since they are big rivals and he will play against them. Nasri leaving to city, Fabregas to Barca, Song to Barca, Clichy etc are all doing what most would. Arsenal refuse to invest to become a top team. I am not sure if the new stadium has ruined their finances or the board members are more concerned with making money. I don't blame the players for leaving, especially the ones, who go abroad or to non rivals. Wenger shows no loyalty to his older players and the club refuses to pay them what they would make an other clubs. To top it off the club won't invest in other top clubs and are happy finishing fourth.

Re: Arsenal 0 - Old Boys 44

This is totally false.
Arsenal players never achieve anything when they leave, Merson and Nicholas said on Sky!!!

The Arsenal Team That Could Have Been

Can you construct one of your own from their current crop and players who have left in the last 5 years?

---------------------Szczesny----------------------
Sagna--------Kolo----------Vermaelen-----Clichy
-----------------------Song--------------------------
-----------Fabregas---------Wilshire---------------
Cazorla-------------RVP---------------------Walcott

I reckon this team wins the Prem and looks good doing it.

Re: The Arsenal Team That Could Have Been

Replace Walcott with Podolski. Replace Wilshere with Arteta and put him at the side of Song.

The problem is, even with that team, then squad would be made up of under 15's players who are overrated so still wouldn't win the league.

SURELY nasri ahead of walcott?

Re: The Arsenal Team That Could Have Been

Lol for some reason I never even thought about him either and I highly rate him!

Diarra, Adebayor, Eduardo, Hleb and even Eboue could of added some depth
