Arsenal are still the favourites to finish in the top four over Spurs and Liverpool. We've got a better defence and midfield than both of those teams.
I posted earlier in this thread that your manager needs to remember that it's about winning trophies - especially if you're at one of the top four. He's not a fucking accountant!

I agree. It's extremely frustrating that the club haven't improved upon the squad, especially after all the statements about the money being available. They have managed to shift a lot of the deadwood from the wage bill so hopefully there will be a few additions. If they can't get a top class striker this window then they should focus improving the rest of the team to enable Giroud to score more goals. I think an acceptable window would be to sign a backup/competition CB for Mertesacker, backup/eventual replacement for Arteta and a creative winger.

Arsenal are in two/three injuries/suspension away to kiss goodbye to top four finish and say hello to Europa League spot fight with Swansea and Soton.

That's equally if not more true for Spurs. Anything happens to Bale and their season will collapse.

At least they've bought a few players.

But even then, they supposedly already have budgeted 70M for transfers. So why don't they USE IT.

(Of course now that they're bidding 40M for players from rivals, are they "buying" fourth place? What would their fans think about this?)

I watched the arse on line and I chuckled at a banner stating you "cant buy class".
I then pissed myself watching villa carve them open and their classy fans booing them off.
There's plenty of time for them to get out of the bottom three and although this is a tad bold I believe that they will definitely stay up.

I am not into bagging the Gunners just yet as the Karma Bus works its magic where it hurts most.

Here's to us doing our job for another win against Toon ( TW ) which is all the matters when all is said and done.
