Khedira is a very good player, but I don't think he will help Arsenal much. They need someone more solid defensively. Javi Martinez, Sven Bender or even Lars would be better fits. Khedira would be a good signing for United though.

First they got ozil with no competition and now Sanchez,if they dont finish in top 2 and do good in cup competitions then it will definitely be arsene last year

They are still lacking quality striker, and if they dont sign one, they will finish 4th again.

Khederia is the signing that have needed for years.

I think they have a chance next year.

Strong rumours about Ospina (Columbian top keeper) and Khedira. Both would improve them as Ospina simply a better GK than Schzezny (?) was the higest rated keeepr in French league last season even from a smaller team like Nice. I think he is better than the much hyped Ochoa.

If they get him for some 3m deal they surely did a better deal than us with the old Caballero for 6m.

While Khedira is a huge upgrade on Arteta.

There is a good chance that they will use Sanchez as a striker and having Giroud as an option from bench as he is good in the air so not a bad option if they have to change for crosses in games when they need to win with late goals...

Sanchez got 10 assists as well as 19 goals in La Liga last season so I can see Wenger using him as a second striker behind Giroud next season because of his added creativity.

I think he might go and sign Loic Remy to add to the number of strikers and for a second or third choice striker he would be top notch in my opinion.

Khedira would make them a real challenger though, he is arguably the missing link in midfield they need to challenge further than March/April.

I'm hopeful if it is to be Khedira that between him & Ramsey they will have enough in game intelligence so that 1 of them stay while the other 1 goes. Perhaps it also relieves Ramsey of some pressure as you could imagine that teams might begin to pay closer attention to him. He would add some much needed physicality to the team, hopefully a 'winning mentality', and of course would be another boost for Ozil.

However, his fitness after doing his ACL would be a worry, & like you say they'd have a bit of work to sort positioning out. I wouldn't be overly fussed who it was as long as we got a midfielder of that type that we have been linked with, as any of them would be an upgrade over Arteta & Flamini.

Khederia coming through their academy as well!? Because of course, we all know Wenger doesn't agree with teams who use financial muscle to structure a team..
