I was going to say Villa Park 1981 but that was a little bit after the 70s.
Also Dave Watson bullet header into The North Stand @ 1977 but obviously that was at Maine Road.
I never went to Portmann Road at all,so I will believe you that we had a shit record there in those days.
I went there the week after we put six past Swindon; October '97.

We lost 0-1 and we were fucking dire.

Got what we expected, given the line ups & the difference in quality of the 2 sides. The frustrating thing is how we lose a lot of these big games, always seems that we have an individual mistake in us. Too often these type of games consist of Error, Penalty, Red Card in some combination, its just happened to all come from 1 player in a 30 min spell.

I was slightly encouraged by the first 45mins that we seemed more organised & at least a bit harder to break through. Of course, you might have just been taking a while to get in your full flow as we already seen signs of that happening before half time. There's some decent signs there off the ball anyway.

Arsenal is 7th most valuable club in the world and also has 7th highest revenue.
It's mental that theirs midfield consist of: Xhaka, Torreira, Guendouzi, Ceballos(loan), Ozil, Willock, Chambers, Nelson, Maitland-Niles.
It's not an accident that they are 9th in a league table.

Those figures don't really matter on their own in isolation. It's great having a high revenue, but it doesn't mean a lot if you have high amounts going out the door. And we've actually dropped down to 11th in terms of revenue, Utd, City, Liverpool, Chelsea & Spurs are ahead of us because of the CL drop out.

We're 9th because of a disastrous end to Emerys reign. We actually have picked up in 2020 under Arteta mind you. Believe it or not, only yourselves & Liverpool have picked up more points in 2020. Its clear we have a long way to go though. We are miles off of you's.
