I thought that too, and I'm sure someone on sky sports news said pre match Chelsea are ONLY 9 pts behind leaders city.
Only? Really? I can recall how they made it feel like a crisis when we was 5pts off top spot one year.

Sky agenda.
So are they joint 2nd with Liverp
Yes and no. We can win both games anyway. We don’t need a fixture pile up later on.

If we don’t win both, then one should definitely have been postponed!
Unfortunately we are playing Arse when they have run into what passes for form for them. We are capable of winning both, but today's defensive lapses have caused me some concern.

Postponement for Arsenal is a good thing they ain’t in Europe so a rearranged game working in there favour think pep will rest Sterling Dias Sliva and Cancelo on Wednesday we have Foden Grealish Walker stokes Ake Rodri and Jesus to freshen up the squad we be fine.

No Walker or Stones in the side today. And no Rodri in front, shielding them. Today was a bad day at the office, nothing more than that, in my opinion. 12 goals conceded in 19 games, 25% of them today. I wouldn't lose too much sleep over it if I were you.

Arsenal were on a good run going into their Liverpool game..

Arsenal have been on a good run previously this season , then played a decent team and had to start again. No reason to fear them.

Managers and players will always tell you there’s nothing better than playing. As long as our players are fit and ready then bring the games on and get them points on the board

Arsenal's game vs Wolves midweek is being called off.. how on earth is that fair that they get a full week to recover and prepare and we have an away game on Wednesday then Saturday away...?
I’d much rather play a game again soon while we’re on this winning and scoring run when we have January interrupted with FA Cup weekends.

All about momentum!

I bet Pep is the much happier of the two managers about Arsenal’s game being off. Arteta has just been building some momentum himself there and now they have to wait, while we’ll come into the game with another under our belts.

Plus, as I’ve said, we’ve got a very light January. Swindon a week next Friday night, no midweek Cup semi, Chelsea, no midweek Cup semi, Southampton, FA Cup 4th Round… and that’s the whole of Jan and early Feb.
