No-one gives new managers time to build these days. There were many on here and lots of fans of other clubs saying Arteta was out his depth as well, as well as some Arsenal fans. Not me though, I backed him, can check back my posts.

Why would I need to kid anyone, or need a safety net? I've said from that start we won't win the league. I'm actually surprised we are still in the race now, in April, never mind leading it. I think you could easily win every game until the end of the season whereas we won't.

You have the better team, you have the better squad, you have the experience, and you have Ivan Drago up front.

Maybe it was about pre season expectations I feel like this, maybe it's just a sign how far we had fallen, maybe if it happens for a couple of seasons I'd feel totally different. It's not that I don't care, of course I do, I'll get wrapped up in it all. But after years of fight for 4th, or not even managing that, being in a race just now is a pleasure.
not conceding but if you guys pip us you will have earned it. I genuinely think there are far more turns, seems some posters get well too horny when posting.???

I ve read some silly things regarding predictions, Arsenal are not like the City, Liverpool and Chelsea title winning teams(+95pts). I think around 92-94 points will do it. You have had a fantastic season, a few more squad players and you ll be back in the CL mix next year....looking like you were never away. I hope you enjoy that too.

That’s me as we taxi

I will just say this as a possible mark of difference between the levels of Arsenal and City right now:

If we were in a tight title race and were up 0-2 at Anfield, only to go on to draw 2-2, narrowly avoiding losing outright, it wouldn’t feel like a point gained to City players, coaches, staff, or fans.

It would feel like 2 points dropped, because it would have been.
On BM it would be "bring me the head of Pep Guardiola" if we blew a 2-0 lead at Anfield.

Arsenal have done brilliantly, but I agree with you, having City now in top form the arses will be going like a rabbits nostrils. I too think City will sneak it, but what do I know? I thought we would do the ten. Can’t remember how that turned out, but I seem to remember it didn’t work out as well as I hoped.
