Let's be brutally honest, based on recent seasons and squad I'd expect to see us and Liverpool battling towards the 90+ points mark. City and Liverpool have been the best 2 teams in Europe for around 4 years now.

Arsenal have been a bit lucky this season in that Liverpool are going to have a rebuilding season, Chelsea have spent a fortune yet have no idea on how they want to play, United have found a competent manager, Spurs have imploded and Newcastle aren't quite ready to challenge for the title. Arsenal have been absolutely fantastic this season, no question, and great to watch. Saka, Odegaard and Martinelli have grown under Arteta and it's nice to see Gabriel Jesus and Zinchenko in the race for medals as both were great servants to our club.

However, for anyone to say that they deserve it after 33 games etc is delusional.

If Arsenal finish 2nd next season I'll absolutely applaud them, but I think Klopp and Ten Haag are better managers than Arteta. One thing Arteta shoud've learned from Pep is that a season lasts 38 games, not 33. Arsenal will battle to finish 4th next year I think. They got lucky this year.

I think its the meeja trying to drive interest, advertising and subs, they call everything a '6 pointer' from Nov onwards. Sorry but a midweek Wolves v Bournemouth game un November is not a battle for Europe or relegation dog fifht. This drives social meeja and the copy this shit narrative. Leagues iften decided in last 2 or 3 games mostly

To say I'd be slightly peeved if we ended up with nothing, from this position, would be putting it mildly. 3? It's a big ask. Madrid seem to come alive at this stage of the CL. And even if we do beat them, Italian teams are masters of the dark arts, of shithousing their way to a result. But I would hope for the two domestic cups at least.
Imagine a proper double again fa cup and league, not many have done it, still a big ask as we are NOW coming to the business end (sky would try and say business end from January!!!!)
