The Met don't want to deal with any evening weekend kick off games because of anti social behaviour. They are suggesting your Cup Final with Utd starts no later than 4.30 as well for the same reasons.

It's similar in Glasgow, it's why you'll never see a later weekend kick off for the Old Firm games there, with the majority at 12.30pm.
That's great craic though, you just start drinking on the Friday or Saturday night before and carry on all the way through until the early kick off.

Exactly. You ain't going to get Rangers or Celtic fans to be sober and behave. We just start earlier or like you say, continue from the night before.

There were running battles at Hampden pre 10am last month as both rival supporter groups were there early to set up their displays lol.

You on a good ranting mood today, let it all out mate. Empty seats, accents, celebrity fans etc, can have that discussion about every club in the country, including your own (and I'm Scottish, so I think I'd lose any accent discussion). :-)

Doesn't bother me you venting like that, doesn't really provoke any decent discussion though mind you.

He doesn’t mean it, he’s just venting ahead of tonight’s game . . you’ll see a lot of it on here and on your own forums today because some otherwise generally nice people show aggression when they get nervous.
IMO you‘ve had a fantastic season so far, you fully deserve your current place at the top of the heap but you’re running out of steam recently and I think we’ll beat you tonight and then take the title (though only time will tell).
In truth, our main advantage here is that we train and play towards peaking at the business end of the season and that’s starting to show.

I hope our ex-players get a good traditional ex-city player welcome from our crowd tonight, as other loyal ex-players (Zabba, SWP etc.) received down the years - none of that mindless hate shite that the dippers give their ex-players (Sterling comes to mind).
And I sincerely hope that we’re loud and proud and beat you 6-0, but with all due respect and no bad feelings either way afterwards of course ;-)

Will the Arse risk playing Zinchenko tonight? Poor guy looks an emotional wreck these days. Tonight might be a bit much for him.

Hard to disagree with anything you have said there mate. I just hope we go out and give a good account of ourselves, don't want to go out and surrender monkeys again. I'll repeat though, Haaland vs Holding is the stuff of nightmares lol.

Ruthless. I like it. We should be looking to attack him.
I'm hoping to see Bernardo giving him twisted blood all evening. He was 33/1 for a red card but I thought it would have to be straight red since if he gets a yellow Arteta will probably hook him.

Re Haaland it's all about the service of course and then having Ch's who can concentrate for 90 mins. Teams have stopped our wide players like Mahrez and Grealish being able to get their head up and working hard to stop De Bruyne having space to use his wand. I think the problem is your too good a side for that, Martnelli and Saka will kind of demand Odegard gets his head up and try and play attacking passes, if they get cut out and your out of shape then we will have a good chance of punishing the opportunity - your wide men too high up the pitch etc. It takes some discipline to not play naturally, also for the players its a bit boring doing that - the game is still classed as 'entertainment' last time looked so i hope you do go for it. Makes a spectacle of the game and gives both teams chances for goals which tbf most football fans would want (within reason). I personally like your team, i think too many get too involved with spurious fan 'characteristics' - get rid of the ott partisan culture n the game and we should have a cracker tonight - emjoy Gunner ...but hopefully not toooo much!

What team are we expecting from Arsenal? Rumour has it Xhaka is out, so:

Partey White Gabriel Tierney
Jorginho
Ødegaard Zincheko
Saka Jesus Martinelli

???

He’s not the only monumental fuck up though is he? You’ve signed loads of crap players for big money.

Your club is a fucking joke, from empty seats last Friday when you were 3-1 down to bottom of the league to miraculously filling up again when you equalised.

To your supporters with that horrible MLE accent, init blud fam, to your celebrity wanker fans like those cunts Morgan, Lewis Hamilton, Davies, Corbyn, to your invincible’s who drew 12 games. Add in that twat Wenger who saw fuck all, never won a Champion's League and in fact won just three League titles in 20 years, (Pep has 4 so far in 6 seasons). Why was Wengers record ever questioned?

Tin pot club, tin pot fans, hoping you win fuck all for years to come.
Jim Broadbent enjoys this.

Cheers TS, same to you too. Yeah, i think another of our weaknesses is being caught in transition, we've let in a lot of goals recently and as much as i might single out Holding some times it's certainly not on him, even with Saliba playing we get caught out.

I've said on here a few times, i think that's why he wants Declan Rice, i think he sees him as being able to take up a similar role to Xhaka, only be a bit better at both winning the ball further up the pitch, and also a bit more mobile to help when we we lose the ball in transition.

Xhaka can't was feeling unwell on Friday night, doubt he misses tonight as well tbh, but if he is out, given how open they were in midfield with Vieira (who's more solid than Zin) on Friday if I was in Arteta's position I'd probably bring in Jorginho to replace him alongside Partey in the hope of tightening things up.

He's in the travelling squad anyway. If he starts it will be the same as Friday night only Xhaka for Vieira i'd imagine.

Would have thought Partey in midfield, Zinchenko at left back for Tierney and Holding comes into the middle of the back four and White at right back.
