While it's not a must win game against those loveable scouse scamps, I would say it's a must not lose game. Early days of course, but to go seven points behind them and a possible six behind us if we beat Southampton puts a lot of pressure on them.
I think the pressure is already on them, and more so now after the run of red cards which has seen them drop points,Sundays game is more of a must not lose at all costs for them in my opinion..

Arsenal fans are all over X crying about John Stones goal, Bernardo fouling the wolves keeper, and being offside, and Saliba getting sent off, and the Chelsea player not getting sent off against Liverpool. Honest to god, they are worse than Liverpool fans, It's absolutely pathetic.

Seriously, what is it with these Arsenal, Liverpool , and United red shirt fans. They honestly think they have a divine right for every decision to go their teams way, even when it doesn't involve their team on the pitch.

The majority of it involves entitlement simple as that ..

Arsenal fans spent the week after our game telling us how they’ve rattled City… the reality is, ever since Stones’ equaliser, their heads have fallen off.

They’ve gone demented on X, their forum and their fan channels. They’ve gone more cultist than the culitiest Liverpool fans.

All they’ve done for a month is obsess about City, tell everyone how corrupt everything is, the refs (who give us loads of shit decisions) are corrupt in our favour, the PL (who have charged us with a jaw dropping 115 allegations of financial wrongdoing) are corrupt in City’s favour, Sky hates them, the BBC hates them, they’re on every City post telling us how everything and everyone Arsenal is better than anything and anyone City…

You can’t scroll down any comments section anywhere on any football social media without seeing an Arsenal fan moaning like fuck about something. Even if it’s nothing to do with Arsenal. Half of them think the title is gone already yet still think every one of their team is better than all of ours, the other half don’t care about football anymore because of all the corruption yet cant stop obsessing about City and the referees.

Their heads have well and truly gone since this moment:

There’s a pattern.

We stopped United winning PL titles on the last day of the season. United fans hated City even more.
We stopped Klopp and Liverpool PL winning titles on the last day of the season. Liverpool fans started hating City.
We stopped Arteta and Arsenal winning PL titles on the last day of the season. Arsenal fans started hating City.
If City were still shit and weren’t winning PL titles at the expense of the Red Shirt cartel clubs and their fans, they wouldn’t hate City(bar United), and they wouldn’t be bothered about City.

Only an Arsenal fan could watch Gabriel's goal against us think its fine and then cry about Stones goal yesterday.
They are exactly the same.
They have had 3 red cards this season. Rice - unlucky but a red. Trossard - clear red and Gabriel - clear red
They have whined about all 3.
Manager, players and fans are all the same. Emotional wet wipes.

Id actually like a Liverpool win next week with another Arsenal red card, because Arsenals head will truly explode.
The dippers will fall away anyway later on as they are relying on easy fixtures and home games at the moment.
The thing is, they aren’t exactly the same.

Bernardo is well away from Sa by the time Stones heads the ball.

Ours was completely valid per the rules.

Theirs probably shouldn’t be allowed under the rules.

But, if Gabriel’s goal should stand, ours definitely should.

Went into work tonight a few reds and a scouser in there . All adamant that our goal should have been ruled out surprise surprise . They were all being genuine as well. All saying he was offside and not understanding the rules of the game in that he wasn’t in line of the sight of the keeper . I like to think I’m impartial to City but yesterdays goal is no debate. It clearly should stand and anyone who thinks otherwise is clutching at straws . I’m completely baffled of the outrage .

I'm not baffled in the slightest at the media driven faux outrage over our goal yesterday. They all know it was legit, but controversy generates engagement.

& it was proof of City benefiting as a northern big 6 team cos Wolves had one similar struck off against West Ham…….

More mental gymnastics….

Sadly, you got it in one!

CLICKS!! It’s all about the CLICKS!

Say something negative about City and you have all the Red Shirt fans clicking like mad!

I'm not impartial at all, but even so yesterdays goal is no debate. It clearly should stand and anyone who thinks otherwise is clutching at straws . I’m completely baffled of the outrage .

Firstly we won the Cup Winners Cup and secondly there's a strong argument to be said that the Arsenal side that remained unbeaten and had players like Henry, Bergkamp, Pires, Cole, Campbell etc in it was a superior team to the current City team.

But we'll never find out. But for sure neither City nor Arsenal will have a side that's better than the peak Pep Barcelona side with Messi, Xavi and Iniesta etc.
Both City and Pep's Barcelona won a Champions League and a treble. So Arsenal aren't even part of the conversation.

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned it but why was arteta that scared that he brought on another centre half when saliba was sent off at 0-0.
If city were playing against Bournemouth with a back 4 of walker, akanji, Dias and gvardiol and akanji was sent off at 0-0, I'm pretty sure pep would just go to a back 3 at least until we went ahead.
In his defence they are not as good as City.
