Let them say what they want. Every dog has their day. When we return to form and Halaand puts his usual 2 in the back of the net he should promptly remind them that he "politely" and previously had reminded them to remain humble and thus reassert his natural dominance.

Let them have their little moment.

For a manager that took us from the gutter to competing you sure do hate on him. He could also fuck off to the many job offers he would get if he were available. And we are on De Zerbi appointment away from the Europea League hustle

In our last 37 league games we have lost only 3 games. Thankully majority of fans are right behind Arteta

Yeah yeah, what has he won again? One FA cup in 6 seasons? Another few years and he can claim a testimonial without winning anything of note by spending a shed load of cash :)

If you think cheating Arsenal were in the gutter, when Legohead arrived, you really have no idea what it’s like to be at a low point.

Try a season in the third tier.

I don't hate on him, I just think sometimes he gets the optics wrong. Like when he claimed the Community Shields as major trophies the other week - I mean come on, the one we 'won' last season we only qualified for because City won the treble and could hardly play against themselves.

I think Arteta is doing an excellent job but needs to crown that with a trophy this season. I also think he says some stupid things at times - but then again so do most of the PL managers.

was it anymore idiotic than you lot retaking your team photo with the charity shield, anymore idiotic than the multiple interviews your players have given saying you are ready to win the league, anymore idiotic than the amount of nonsense that comes out of artetas mouth almost daily, i agree it wasnt the best idea but it was no more or less stupid than the multitude of things your own team and players have done and the diff is (and this is a key difference) he has the trophies and accolades to back it up whereas your team and manager do not.

He doesn't just need to crown it with a trophy, he needs to crown it with a title. He's had two years of narrowly missing out to City, getting closer each year, and when we're finally out of your way, you've allowed your own performances to drop off and Liverpool to sneak in. You're currently on course to finish with 78 points; 11 points less than last season. Liverpool are on course to get 95 points. You'd have to win every game between now and the end of the season to get 96.

It's fucking unreal what fans of some of these clubs think a fall from grace is. Few seasons outside the top 4 and you're 'in the gutter'. Give me strength.

Firstly he didn't take you from the gutter. You had 6 seasons outside the top 4 finishing 5th-8th for fuck sake. He cleared out the shite, spent a fortune on a better squad and surprise surprise you were back competing for the title.

But the critical thing is you didn't win it and things turn quickly.

You only have to look at the fucking meltdown on here now we're not challenging!

He needs to win a trophy, a proper one, to buy some more time but this season you should have been winning the league with our decline. The dippers have been impressive, but you should have been closer than you are. There will be an immense amount of pressure on him come the new season if you still haven't won anything.
