I don't think the Tarquins are bad - far from it, but they're certainly not as good as their fans would have you believe.
They are very much in the dipper mould of 'why-is-it-always-us'? When they hit the post (I think it was in the first half)
you could almost hear every gunners fan in the stadium crying, bemoaning how bad luck always seems to follow them around. As if they and the dippers are the only clubs to suffer the slings and arrows of modern football.
Last night it was as if they were waiting for some divine intervention to suddenly appear to help them beat the Geordies, but it never arrived and their fans -suitably exasperated- all got up and walked out.
The whole team ethos is they feel they shouldn't have to work for success, it should be delivered on a silver platter to them because they are a big name in the sport. As I say, like the dippers.
