I genuinely had no idea arsenal fans were THIS mentally ill. my eyes have been opened today. They are actually so much worse than liverpool fans have EVER been, I am not joking. I've been maintaining for years that arsenal are more down to earth, no they are GONE, they have completely lost their mind. It's good to know these tossers will never win a trophy lmao
They've been self appointed moral guardians of football for the last 20 years minimum, proper annoying gobshites

I take great glee in the fact it seems to be universal across all football fans that they’ve proved Haaland’s point today after how they’ve acted.

That kid’s celebration being the main bit.

They’ve won and still somehow come out looking like cunts. A special power.

Another one they have only second to the fact they have a knack of bottling it every time it matters.
Just to add to the point on 'the kid's' celebration. It was in response to Haaland asking him 'who are you?' in the first game. Dish it out, expect it back and all that - I thought Haaland actually reacted pretty well to it. I don't think City fans should be critical on the trolling from Arsenal as it was inevitable they would do it after what Haaland did in the 1st game. I'm not sure you can sit back and criticise that and not criticise Haaland in the 1st game although obviously fans will support players of their own team.

Re the kids coming through, Lewis Skelly's long term position is as left midfield. I can see him as England's left back pretty soon. Ethan Nwaneri who came on and scored is the higher rated talent, he's only 17 however the top prospect is a lad called Max Dowman who has just turned 15 but is already training with the first team - he's rated as a Lamine Yamal- level prospect but obviously that doesn't mean he'll turn out that way given his age.

Haaland was right about you lot needing to stay humble though.

It’s elation or dejection for your fans, with very little in between.

We’ve been hammered on the scoreline today, but if you read our post match thread, most are reacting realistically, with the odd Pep out looneytune from time to time.

At least that YouTuber’s wife isn’t in danger tonight. Every cloud and all that.

They will all be the next Nketiah wound up in a fan base who celebrates not winning anything, and believing 2nd is success

Well footballers and football fans are an emotional lot. We do need to win something this season - it won't be the league, we are out of the FA Cup. I could see us overturning the 2-0 at the Barcodes as they are out of form. Champions League is a tough ask however I think over 2 legs we aren't going to be an easy side for anyone. But make no mistake, even if we'd won 20-1 today, Arteta needs silverware this season.

TBF, Arsenal have improved.

Celebrating 2nd instead of celebrating 4th is an improvement.

One day they might celebrate finishing 1st.

At the end I couldn’t properly make it out, but was the chant ‘are you watching Merseyside’?

Really?

Come back when any of your players have won the PL title, the CL, done the Treble, and have been part of a team/s that has won 4PL titles in a row.

Now fuck off and go and celebrate Arsenal being 2nd in the PL table.

If you cant handle taking it, dont give it out

Spurs walloped us earlier on but it has done them the square root of nothing in the grand scheme of things. Liverpool are clear favourites.

They're desperate to create a rivalry with us, is it because Spurs are shit? Similar to how Fergurson banged on about Liverpool being their real rivals when we was shit despite the fact they never stop singing about us. Sky egging it on like the Arsenal/United rivalry.

Every tackle, every decision, every passage of play at the Emirates always seems to have some hysterical screaming following it I've no doubt we'll batter them soon and then see what's done in retaliation.

Personally I couldn't give less of a fuck about them as a rival. Like most Cockneys I've ever come across they have this larger than life self grandiose idea of themselves. Gobby capital city full of themselves shite, its a strange place that old London town.
