For whatever reason, Skelly is getting horror treatment from refs. Add that referee decision to the list.

Fuck me dead what we doing that PGMOL hates us like this. This referee tax cant continue into next season
It's nice to now and again take a step back and see the bigger picture. You see your club being picked on by officials, you see yourselves as the innocent victims being relentlessly persecuted by pgmol. Understandably, we all of us have a tendency to see only what we want to see when it comes to anything that affects us personally. Football, family, relationships, work ethics, etc. The world sees an Arsenal player make a shocking two-footed assault on an opposing player, you see the opposing player overreacting and pretending to be injured in order to get your player booked or sent off.
I don't know one football fan who sees your club as being victimized. Not one. To a man they see the same as most rational supporters see, occasionally officials get things wrong and a player might be sent off where in retrospect a yellow would have been sufficient. Now you won't believe it, but this happens to every single club in the entire universe. Even with pub teams, or school matches, errors occur. Because we are not automatons, we are not a George Lucas creation, we are human beings and we get things wrong now and again.

Arteta has turned your club into arguably the most disliked club in the Premiership (alongside the usual suspects, of course). He has your side time-wasting to such extraordinary lengths that a simple throw-in can take 60 seconds or more, a goal kick can take over two minutes, and even a straightforward substitution takes your staff about three minutes or so. But these things only happen when you are winning a game. If you are 1-0 up in the 85th minute you can add on a further 60 seconds to all of the above. But those same things can be done faster than the speed of light if you are losing.
He has your players feigning injury so much that they are often referred to as the cast of Casualty. Writhing around on the ground in exaggerated physical torment at the slightest touch, howling like a pack of hungry wolves and gesticulating for the medical staff to come on with a stretcher, such is the severity of the injury. But when seeing the referee is not being fooled by these underhanded tactics jumping straight back up and getting stuck into the thick of the action - with absolutely no sign of the potentially life-ending injury he suffered 20 seconds ago.

Your club has an unenviable reputation. You are disliked by fair-minded supporters because Arteta has schooled you extremely well in the dark arts, so well in fact that you now use cheating and time-wasting as an integral part of your tactics.

You might see your club as being the victims of some elaborate and far-fetched plot to deny you of any success, most others see it as karma.

Stay humble.

He’s an arrogant **** who hasn’t done anything in the game to justify his insufferable attitude.
First noticed him at the Etihad in September, never heard of him before that, he got booked for time wasting and imploring Raya to time waste, he was a sub, not even on the pitch.
Stay humble Miles

I remember Sane scoring a nice solo goal. The issue that day was the transport system was down although I just got an Uber there
There were no problems with public transport. We got there on the train from Manchester and on the tube (via a pub in Finsbury Park). A mate who lives down there travelled across London on public transport.
I understand that your fans didn't fancy coming out in the cold but please don't make excuses.

I see Lewis-Skelly cost his team points again.

But he did do that too bantz and memes which is as good as a trophy at Arsenal these days. Club legend.

Having watched the latest penalty incident that Arteta is wetting his knickers about, I just can't see how you can't argue it's a penalty once given. Miles Skally had his arm around the attacker, can't keep up, and falls over. There's contact, an arm around the waist. Sometimes they're ignored, sometimes not.

Yes it's not the most concrete penalty ever, and the inconsistency is maddening especially given this is the same prat who gave nothing for the attempted mid-game tag team shirt swap on Savinho last week, and if it hadn't have been given I don't think var steps in either, but there was a foul committed and the referee has deemed it sufficient to blow up. There's contact, so all you can do after that is learn a lesson.

It's hardly the injustice that lego head would have us believe, and if it was at the other end he'd be moaning equally about the ref if he didn't give it.

But, again, this smacks of the Arsenal mentality and for me is a big reason why they don't win things. Whatever you feel has gone against you, whoever you feel has caused you injustice, you have to rise above it and make it irrelevant. We had the same, and the only thing you can do is ensure that it doesn't matter. You didn't get that penalty but you still won. That worldie flew in against the run of play with their only shot on target, but it's ok as you were three up by that point. They reinvent the rules to pretend rashford is onside knowing that they can just issue a meaningless apology later on, but you still do enough over the season to win the league.

Every team feels they're unfairly treated, but it's only the champions who go on and show everyone they're better than relying on decisions week on week out.

I don't see it changing either. What are Arsenal going to do next season to improve that mentality? Sign Isak? Unlikely, and what happens when they face a set back anyway, as inevitably happens to any team? Don't get me wrong, Everton have become a tough team to get points out of, we'll struggle there in a couple of weeks too, but having seen a team of serial winners over the past few seasons overcome such obstacles, once you have the ability to complete technically and physically it's that attitude and application that defines you as champions. To do it on the pitch and leave no regrets. To do better next time so there is no argument or doubt as to the outcome. Arsenal don't have that, they seem to take siege mentality the wrong way and turn it in on themselves, and it becomes a blame game rather than fuel for the next opportunity to win.

The focus here should be on the refereeing inconsistency. There are probably a dozen challenges a game like that one, what makes one a foul and the others not? If that's a foul then the idiotic grappling at every corner should see more penalties awarded. Feels to me a bit like Darren England saw his balls up last weekend and maybe that influenced his decisions for the next game. But it's contact, in the area, and you're inviting trouble if you do that.

What is it with Arsenal and set pieces ? If they take any longer we might as well be watching rugby union. It's tedious beyond words .

Seem to remember City lades had a player booked for taking 32 seconds from when the foul was given to taking the free kick ! Her second so sent off.

What are you actually doing on here, why not go and knock one out to aftv , you should be banished from bluemoon as you are clearly a wum or an absolute brain dead,or perhaps both.

I'm happy with the point. Winning was irrelevant as we're not overtaking the Dippers and so ensuring a CL spot is important and Everton away can be tricky. No new injuries as well.

Madrid looked fucking dreadful against Valencia today btw so there shouldn't be fear factor for the team vs them
That shower of twats could play in the CL with 8 players and still fluke it.
