Arsenal thread | 2025/26

Agreed but I wouldn't take the game we played vs the Rags as indicative of how we will play for most games. We were as bad is it was possible to be (but still beat the 'we're back' United team lol).

I think everyone needs to be super focused from the off - lots of talk about our nightmare starting fixtures but playing at Anfield and then home to City within a couple week timespan might concentrate the mind.

Be in it by end March is vital.
I just think Arteta has become too cautious. I think that at times Arsenal have damaged their own momentum with all the time wasting stoppages. They get a goal up then resort to feigning injury and having coaching sessions on the field. Arteta distracts his own players with his antics. Pep used to be the same but has become better as he has calmed down. Arteta is strangling his own team.

Excuse my scepticism (it's an Arsenal fan account, after all). But if that's actually true, fair play to the fella. Yes; I realise that he can well afford it. But he didn't have to do it, did he? With the obvious minus point re who he plays for, I always thought he comes across on the media as a decent enough bloke off the pitch.

That’s a great gesture from Rice.

Hat off to the lad.

If that's true that's brilliant from the lad.

Apparently, Eze turns them into nailed on title winners!

He's decent, but a bit of a stretch IMO.

Although reading the ticket threads, it won't matter to most on here seems as everyone is fucking it off and never going again :-)

He does things like this quite a lot. He also donated money for treatment for a 14 year old West Ham youth playet who was in hospital with cancer and needed specialist medication that wasn't available in the UK.

So Havertz is out until after the international break. So he will miss just 2 PL games and apparently that was the trigger to sign Eze.....

Spurs fans will be fuming. Hopefully you guys give them something else to be upset about this weekend.

If Arteta wins nothing with the squad below it will be a massive failure and he will have to go.

You have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words. And yet I'm one of the lucky ones. People are suffering. We are in the beginning of a mass extinction, and all you can talk about is money and fairy tales of eternal economic growth. How dare you!

What are his bonuses for? It'll be through the fucking roof if they win something.
