Arsenal Thread | 2025/26

This should a club by all accounts that wins things and for all the money his switching of tactics he really aint done fook all ............that was the narrative on talk shite that getting the CL semi final and losing out to City on GD is seen as improvement .............is that what there all about now ?????

I don't even see the improvements, I actually think they're worse than 3 years ago. It's just that the likes of us and the dippers were better 3 years ago. I think that Arsenal team of 2023 wins the this season league. Just like some of the dipper teams under Klopp that finished second to us would absolutely walk the league this season.

There's been a drop off in quality of the league in the last two years. Should they win the league next month, it's because of that, not because they've made improvements.

Lots of moaning from Arsenal about denial of a goalscoring opportunity by Khusanov. Must admit I didn't think it was but there's a lot of noise about it. Did we get away with something like they did with Gabriel??

It was fuck all mate honestly, Khusanov applied a bit of muscle and Havertz went down like the shister he is.
They're also crying about Haaland's goal!

The Tarquins trying to hide their embarrassing shortcomings...again! They've been getting away with a lot worse since the season started. Fuck 'em!

I know the incident they must be on about. Nothing more than a coming together of two players running at speed, only Khusanov’s speed is faster than Havertz, which incidentally mustn’t be great considering little ol’ Bernie caught up with him and outmuscled him in another one to one where Havertz handled it.

I remember it now. Basically a shoulder to shoulder number wasn't it but Khusanov was stronger.

Cunts.

And outside the box

It would appear that Rayan's keepie-uppies are to cheating Arsenal fans what Bernardo's coffee cup is to Littlewoods.
It always makes me smile whenever I see that photo of Bernie and his cup of coffee basically saying to the Scousers "you know what, I fucking hate you lot".

Yesterday's result means Arsenal have to change the way they play. They cannot be pragmatic. This has forced Atrteta's hand and they have to go for it. They played better against us than they have for a long time but will they do this against lesser teams? Could go either way. Restraints come off and they open up and get results. Or, having to change their style they leave themselves more open defensively. Hopefully the latter.
There was literally someone on Talksport saying that it was a good thing that they lost because it will force them to play better football because they'll be chasing. 'Clutching' and 'straws' come to mind.

So what do they do? Stick or twist?

Do you bring in someone with the risk of losing a manager who did improve you and got you back to being contenders and risk undoing that? Or still with a guy who hasn't been able to get you over the line if he fails against this season?
This assume that the manager was the main factor in you becoming contenders again rather than the half a billion you spent improving the squad.
