Arsenal v City post match thread

Some unbelievably negative comments on here.

Just got 4 points from 2 tough away games (easy with hindsight but there were plenty who expected the rags to beat us). Chelsea losing was a huge bonus that very few expected and that might be the difference between us having to look for the win at Anfield or making sure we don't lose. Saints next and they'll be no pushovers but win that & go with confidence to Anfield.

I'm pretty surprised by some of the complaining in this thread. We expected to be 3 points behind Chelsea tonight with two games in hand. We're 2 points behind them with two games in hand, and we've chalked off Arsenal and the rags away which leaves Everton and Liverpool.

As things stand we're closer to the title than we thought we would be. I'm disappointed with the performance - but I'm also fucking buzzing about what the Chelsea loss means.

Exactly. And let's no forget that 2 points could have quite easily been 6, such are the margins and our record at the Emirates. At the very least five as no one expected Chelsea to lose today.

If Spurs can do Liverpool tomorrow, doubtful but you never know, it will have been a fantastic weekend. No ifs or buts.

If Spurs do Liverpool, i will bake a 9 ft rasperry sponge spunge pudding and sit on top of it, swigging a glass of fairy liquid.

If Spurs do Liverpool, I will jump on a space hopper all the way down Chester Road naked, drooling, giggling, committing common assault on the Fergiscum statue, and sprinkle star dust on weeds residing along the Bridgewater canal. Then shit in the hat of GMP's finest.

Would have taken today's scenario anytime when I woke up this morning. We've gained on the leaders and got a difficiult fixture out of the way. Over the moon tonight with our week's work!!!

Well, it's a case of the half full or half empty bottle.
I fear tomorrow we'll see the dippers towering the league with 4 points on us and their goal difference closing the gap on ours.
Had we won today, we could have afford to loose some points at Anfield.
We just made that game against Pool the season-defining one.
The hole team is to blame, begining with Yaya, Nasri and Dzeko : lack of urgency, precision and passion.

Against Liverpool, we have just dropped 2 points.

I honestly think Liverpool will win it now. And to be fair, of they beat us at their place - which I expect they will - they will deserve it.

Fucking hell

It's a disease some people caught in October and haven't shaken yet. After every single dropped point this season the same people to a man have given up the title. It's hilarious given we're going to win it. :)

A good performance to come away with a draw. We're still favourites. Arsenal played well (the cunts couldn't just lie down like they did for Chelsea).

Anyway, a good, professional performance. MDM is looking good.

Theres a massive thread on Dzeko
Is this the post-match thread? If you think what I said was inappropriate, report me or make a case against what I said.

LOL, whoosh!

reread your own post mate and then untwist your knickers.
Ah crap. Full apologies. Stupid typos...

Lots of mard cunts again.
Good result that, maybe not full advantage taken but like I said to my equally mard mate, arsenal have the title to play for too. Given Chelsea's result today a win would've been perfect, but a draw us still very sweet
Our title this. You beautiful blue bastards. Xxx
