Arsenal v City post match thread

Wasted chance. I'm now starting to worry about Liverpool. They win tomorrow then I will really start to worry about them.

Can't help but think it's a huge chance missed. Never got going 2nd half

Indeed, a win would have meant we could still lose 6 points and still win the league, even if Chelsea and Liverpool won every game.

I don't see us dropping more than 6 points from here on in so this game could have been the day we look back on where we won the league.

We have let Chelsea off after todays result and let Arsenal back in the race.

It's looking like a weekly occassion now that it seems written in the starts that Liverpool are going to win it.

Good to see your leaving all four options open Sam on the back on one game.

Don't dismiss Everton (LOL).

Most of us knew all sides in the top bracket will drop points and I am sure will drop more including us unfortunately.

If Liverpool beat us Chelsea and Spurs at home and go on to win it then they probably deserve it.

I would take a win at Liverpool and a point at Everton for sure right now.

If we win at Liverpool we are going to be hard to toss.

Lets focus on Southampton first they are playing decent football but we should be able to open them up.

They will come at us which should suit us , they won't park the bus even though they have nothing to play for.

Often they are the hardest games to win as all the pressure is on us.

Against Liverpool, we have just dropped 2 points.

I honestly think Liverpool will win it now. And to be fair, of they beat us at their place - which I expect they will - they will deserve it.

Fucking hell

People seem to forget we were away, at a ground which hasn't been our best, against a quality side who we faced on the rebound, determined to put a performance in.
Yes, disappointed we went close then conceded straight after, but 1 goal conceded in 6 is hardly crisis time is it?
A point closer to Chelsea , our destiny still in our hands, we were never going to make it easy and win all our games comfortably, still more twists to come for the top 4, but we are being consistent , which for me is key.

Would have taken 4 points before tuesdays games so im happy. Bit upset after we dominated the first half

Put in context, our 1-1 draw at emirates isn't bad. Chelsea drew 0-0, rags won 1-0, pool lost 2-0. It isn't a bad result really

Pretty sure rags drew. They've lost 1 at home, Villa in the first week of the season.

I think most of the post who seem to be unhappy are not because of the point but by the way the team performed. If a good performance was given I would bet most people would be happy.

What you should ask was 1-1 against the rags or 0-3 against Arsenal??? I know what i prefer...

Why is Everyone assuming Liverpool will win every game even if they beat us. If they do they will have put together the best winning run ever in the prem 14 wins on the trot. Ain't gonna happen I still think 7 wins will do us and a fair chance we will only need six

Well this season seems to be the year records are getting broken left right and center.

Liverpool are my favourites at the moment but tomorrow's game will be a perfect indication to see if they do actually have the bottle to go all the way, us and Chelsea dropping points has put a lot of pressure on them now.
