Arsenal v City post match thread

Things look better this evening than they did this morning, and we can still hope Spurs make things even better for the weekend.

You talk absolute rot. Maybe you should fly a banner over the Etihad to let them know how shit you think they are.
Just to add you get no respect for shit comments like that either.

Most people think we're going to lose at Anfield, but imagine if we beat Southampton next week and then turn the scousers over at their ground? We've missed a big chance today but win the next 2 and the title will be ours.
Don't know about the next 2 after seeing Palace play today. Always gonna be tough games but I think we could lose 2 more games and still win the title. The scousers are gonna fuck it up for sure at some point... Kolo to score a couple of O.G's for his bro what?
Plus I think Maureen is gonna fuck it up some more.

Given our first half performance a disappointing result.

Given our second half performance a good result.

The real disappointment was that by winning this game and going top it would have put real pressure on Liverpool tomorrow and been a huge psychological blow to Chelsea...but a point is not the end of the world.

Christ knows where we went at HT though. Fucking tour of London tourist spots most probably.

A draw was a fair result. Not too disappointed with the 4 points out of 6.

We seemed to run out of steam in the second half but understandable (maybe Negredo on sooner for Dzeko). Thought Dean was piss poor to be honest definitely a homer tonight, Silva had the shit kicked out of him with fuck all protection.....

Not a bad day overall and still right in there....

the annoying thing is that we probably had one hand on the title at half time then spunked it away. Play like that at anfield and we will be beaten.

Before the game I thought we would win 3-0 against a weakened Arsenal side but would of taken a draw, unfortunately we seemed to sit deeper and deeper and let then press us until they gained control.

I think if we had been braver we would of got all 3 points, lets hope we dont live to regret our timid nature which grew as the game went on.
