Last year's Cup Final will be the last time I visit Wembley, having been there several times since the semi vs the Rags. Never thought I would say that!

Will never go to that shit hole again. Wembley is the most overrated thing in football. Overpriced tickets, overpriced food & drink. The surroundings are a slum. The costs associated with a Wembley visit could get you a ST at City. Which it has in my case.

the same can be said of nearly every ground in the country.... and the bit about season ticket cost just isn't true. If you don't like it, don't go. There are plenty of people who would have your ticket!

If he pays for four people it could be, and he may be doing.

I hope it doesn't sell out, it is just another burden on the fans and would send a message to the FA.

The only message it would send out to the FA is that City fans don't send many fans to away games. Given that the FA are still desperate to pay off the cost of building the thing, it won't persuade them to lower the cost or change the venue to somewhere else.

I'm just annoyed that I'm already booked to be away on the 10th, as I'd quite happily take your seat.

Any one who wants a ticket will be able to get several, as was the case in 2011. £4.90 a pint and wading through piss, with half the support breaking down emotionally if we are not winning isn't a good day out. The occasion brings out the worst in a lot of people.

We could't take more than 2,000 to a 3pm north west away less than 8 years ago, no point pretending we are the best supported team in the country, but it is good if fans think something is bad value and decide not to follow like sheep.

I'm not disputing that it's overpriced or particularly poor quality. I'm just disputing that boycotting the game will produce any sort of reaction from the FA.

Unbelievable Geoff?
Who would have thought that City supporters could be so un-Wembley friendly

How far have we come? A long long way

I like Wembley and it's great knowing your way around. Our first visit in the semis v rags was hard work finding our way around. But who can say it wasn't worth it????

And now we are there regularly. Long may it continue. No complaints

Serious question - is there a view on which blocks are the most "child friendly"? I have done all the Wembley trips but not with my kids, but I have promised them I would take them this time, however some of the blocks I have been in would not be places I would want to take a 5 and 8 year old (Blues smacking each other etc) - anyone had any child friendly experiences and of so which blocks please?

Probably going to sack this off this time. My season ticket has gone up by £50 and premier league away matches are going to be no cheaper than last season. My pay doesn't go up in line with these increases so something has to be sacrificed. Having said that, ask me in a few weeks and I'll probably go even though it means spending a fortune, going the length of the country for a friendly.

Was going to drive down and stay at the premier in which if booked online is only £39 a room, trouble is its a 2.00 pm check in and it sounds like the game kicks off at the same time .....rang them to see if you can have an early check in and they said you can if you pay the full price of something like £130 .

we have kids of the same age, always take them to the top tier, down the side, normally at the front, depending on your loyalty points, had no problems.
