Arsenal Vs City Post Match Thread

If you look at both of their goals in isolation I don't have much of a problem. Both fouls but on the soft side.

The problem with Clattenburg is that if you give soft fouls all day you can't just decide to stop doing it. And time after time he gave Arsenal cheap frees for minimal contact.

As for the pen, couldnt be more blatant. Not so much for Clattenburg but the lino looked to have a clear view of it.

Have to agree with you mate....not sure how we can be happy with a draw....These are games the "new" city should win...Not putting away chances when they are there, will always cost us and silly mistakes will cost us......Still think our play is too predictable and Dzeko still missing changes he should take.....still don't think he does enough for us to extend his contract another 4 years.....his play off the ball is poor and still missing good chances.....I know many seem happy with the result but after the Stoke game we should be setting higher standards....still believe we needed to inject more pace and talent into the side than we did in the transfer window....teams are going to read our style of play like a book....

I give up

Are you for real

Yes I am......we shouldn't be happy with a draw.....no good having 80minutes of the ball and cant put our chances away and take the foot off the gas for 10 minutes and they score twice....something not right about that.....at the end of the season no-one gives a shit if the ref wasn't on our side in these games....we need to win and sick of using excuses when we don't....imho!

Great game of football, shame we didn't win it in the end but I guess we would have took a point at the start and certainly would of after going 2-1 down with not long left. Give Arsenal credit, they threw everything they had at us but I thought we were magnificent in the last 20 minutes after we went behind. Very pleasing to see hunger in the players in what was a high intensity game, perhaps something we were worried about after Stoke - should see us just fine for the season ahead. Well played Blues.

Clattenburg was a shambles as usual .
Navas was brilliant today .
Can't agree I thought Clattenberg broke up our play very well.

Clueless is all I can say.

Any decent and fair ref out there today and we win very very comfortably.

at end of season, no one is going to care mate! 2-2 is all that we'll see.....we put those chances away at the end, we win.....that had nothing to do with the ref....

Although the 2 fouls leading up to their 2 goals and the cuntshere penalty were obviously influenced by the ref.

Well done pellers, saying it how it is - no doubt be twisted by our impartial media though.

Anyone thinking Silva had a poor game today clearly knows fuck all about football

Wow, i thought he played really well.

He did!

Thought Silva was our best player but all about opinions.

I know its all about opinions, but sometimes it feels like people have watched a different game. Silva dictated the play, created chances and was his usual absolute class.
