Arsenal Vs City Post Match Thread

Quote from BBC -
"In a frantic finish, Aleksandar Kolarov hit the post for Manchester City and Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny cleared against his own post as the Premier League champions threatened to snatch the three points, which would have been very cruel on Arsene Wenger's side. "

They also said the MDM goal was a smash and grab. Supposed to be neutral, the cunts.

On another note and something I don't think has been mentioned; pretty disappointed Dzeko didn't follow up the one that hit the post and the keeper reacted quicker to.

Martin of Michelis MOM today ! Quietly kept it together again, mopping up all others errors.
He also put the team under unessasary pressure at times with a poor ball.

Can I also quickly add,

I thought Fernandino was incredible today. Kompany immense as usual. And great to see Milner have a really good game. There were lots of positives for me today. Navas was brilliant. Silva ran the show as usual. Aguero was world class as he always is.

Had we had the rub of the greeen we would have won it comfortably. And considering who we were missing, and we had Clattenburg to content with, it was a decent result.

If his shorts had pockets, his hands would of been in them.

I can't agree. The keeper was between him and the post. If it had bounced back across the line he'd have been ideally placed but it bounced the opposite way. No chance of him getting it. We're talking millimetres either way on the post for the rebound to drop one way or the other.

I know what you're saying but we NEVER get the rub of the green unless we're winning comfortably and the ONLY way to counteract this is to be BETTER than the opposition.
We are still showing pre-season rust and need to buck up because if we keep being as sloppy as we were against Stoke and to a lesser extent Arsenal the title will be gone.
