Arsenal took their two chances really well though.

Had we been an clinical we'd have won comfortably.

The one eyed nature of football fans is summed up by this guy on metro. He has all the same complaints that we have.

Having said all that a draw seems reasonable. After all we were an inch away from Welbeck opening the scoring which may have made life difficult.

Just need to put Chelsea in their place next week.

Judging by their dominance so far think thats a tough ask. We need to be at our very best to get anything from Chelsea. Maureen will come with his game plan and we need to be ready.
I reckon they'll have to be at their very best to get anything from us to be honest. This is a perfect opportunity for Pellegrini to put Maureen's nose out of joint and let the arrogant bastard know who's boss.

Us? You're not even a blue.

Kompany and Clichy were superb and Zabs/MD weren't bad either.

Clichy Man of the Match. Defended superbly against Sanchez and nearly grabbed a winner!

What did he say?

Basically that there was a clear foul in the play leading up to both their goals, that we should also have had a clear penalty and that it will be very difficult for us to retain our title if we have to face such crap ref performances.
About time he said that, city are the only team with players who don't roll around as if they are shot and some like silva and aguero are far too honest, they try to stay on their feet even if they should have gone down.Lot of likable players in the city squad, one reason why neutrals don't loathe city as much the other so called big clubs.

Also said that Clattenburg had a mare in the Liverpool fixture last season, which is true but I can see action been taken against Pellers. Why managers can't give opinions on Referee performances is beyond me.

If we are two points behind after Chelsea game, having also played Newcastle away, Liverpool and Arsenal, then today will be a great result.

And the rest should just pack up.

Nobody would have legislated for a defeat at home to Stoke, so we will be flying, regardless.

That's despite players not yet finding their stride.

I think we will take Chelsea to pieces next weekend.

Mourinho will want to set up for a draw and hit on the counter, the only disadvantage is the trip to Munich but we are superior to Chelsea.

A draw was the least we deserved. Yes the ref had a shocker, I agree we should have had a foul for their first goal but no complaints on the second, we defended poorly and were punished by a class finish from Sanchez.

We only have ourselves to blame for not winning it really, could have scored 3 more towards the end, Kolarov post, Dzeko/Koscielny post and Samir just straying offside but, in all fairness, Dzeko should have scored the initial chance anyway.

At 1-0 up we were in control but seemed really panicked on the ball at times and then were sloppy at the back for both goals, thought Wilshire got around Clichy too easily and Hart should do better at the front post, went to ground too quickly. Then the second goal, yes Kompany got a little nudge but it was still a good clearing header which our midfield were last to react to and then Sanchez finds himself unmarked to volley it home.

Clattenburg was abysmal, some soft bookings for us, some soft bookings for them and between him and the linesman god knows how they missed the penalty handball. He was just shit all round, and I'm still unsure how he's a premier league standard referee. In spite of all that, like I said, we had the chances towards the end to win it for ourselves and didn't quite take them.

All in all, a draw at Arsenal was a fair result but we could, and probably should, have won it.

Fantastic game....power technic pace all together...with these starting 11 it was a good perfomance and the draw at the Emirates it s ok...
I put the blame on Hart for not winning...it was not a proper keepers reaction at the first goal ...this was a skydiving jump...Noer would have grab the ball with his teeth...

Except Navas and Clichy ...no one else seems on form...Fernado was but is off ...maybe Kompany is another one.... Jovetic was doing great but his perfomance against Stoke was so poor...

PS I read that this match had the most expensive tickets and that are compleins about that...don t worry there is always worst...here in Greece when a small team plays against a big team the away tickets cost 20euros....Not so expensive as the 80euros but consider that the qualitty of the stadiums and the players here are 10 times lower..i almost forgot to write that the basic salary here is 500euros and the anemployment is 30%

PS2 Sorry for grammar and spelling mistakes

PS3 one point against Bayern and a win over Chelsea and we are good
