So fucking glad pellegrini has spoke out today. It's 5 hours post match and I'm still fucked off with that ref display.
It started for me when Sanchez expecting Zabaleta to come through him went to ground, however Zabaleta stopped just short. Clattenberg then retrospectively books him; f#@king unbelievable! A truely shite referee who I still haven't forgiven for his spineless performance at Anfield last season.
There was a passage play that went on a good few touches aaand went out for a throw before the prick brought the ball back for a free kick and booked Lampard.
Exactly how many milliseconds did the prick play advantage for us after the foul and booking (Navas?) with us bearing down on their box?

If we are two points behind after Chelsea game, having also played Newcastle away, Liverpool and Arsenal, then today will be a great result.

And the rest should just pack up.

Nobody would have legislated for a defeat at home to Stoke, so we will be flying, regardless.

That's despite players not yet finding their stride.

I think we will take Chelsea to pieces next weekend.

Mourinho will want to set up for a draw and hit on the counter, the only disadvantage is the trip to Munich but we are superior to Chelsea.

Agreed.

As long as we stay injury free this week and can get Yaya back in place of Lampard I think we'll fucking arsehole them.

They look shit defensively and that's been against teams we're on a different planet to.

I expect MP will have learned a great deal from their 4 victories over us and Liverpool last season and will do a similar number on them as we did against Liverpool the other day.

City gave to many free kicks around the box which in fairness we defended well.. Glad to see Milner and navas play today who were good just feel we lost the ball a lot In midfield in some parts of the game. Beat Chelsea and 4 points will be good.

just got in from work so havnt seen the game, judging by everyones opinion mr twattenberg was a bit dodgy again?, what happened regarding the penalty that he didnt give, other than he didnt he didnt give it??, handball or one of ours upended in box??. did we play well overall??

First 10-15 minutes we soaked up a bit of pressure from arselona , wellshit should of scored he tried to chip Joe and hit the post , Kun scored from a great run from Jesus , for most of the 2nd half we dominated and controlled the tempo , they equalised after fouling Kun , their 2nd was also a foul on VK wellshit pushing VK in the back , we should of had a penalty handballed it twice , great equaliser from a kolarov corner mdm header , last 10 minutes we hit the post twice and nasri had a goal ruled out (rightly) for offside , clattenburg had a shocker ,MP rightly berated him post match , more than deserved point ,slightly disappointed not 3 ,regardless of what the impartial panel/ tators of owen , keown , ian wright , piers morgan , scholes and mcmanaman thought

It just goes to show the depth of our squad when we play Arsenal away against their strongest side and come away thinking we should've ripped them a new arsehole.

Blatant handball by Wilshere to stop Silva and Navas getting to the ball. Runs by, extends his arm out from his side and literally passes the ball forward to himself with his arm. Silva and Navas immediately stop and call for handball, TV shows about 10 replays from every angle, and it is a dead cert!

Throw in the two fouls that created their goals, Wilshere's blatant elbow in Lampard's face, Wilshere's dive trying to get a penalty early doors, Sanchez dive to get Zaba's yellow, and Twattenburg had a great game!

Sadly, we were asleep for most of the first half, but we had a complete "against the run of play" counter attack that sliced them open and Sergio scored, which changed the game. With even a sliver of luck, one of those two that hit the post in the last few mins would have gone in and the result would have been out of Twattenburg's hands! Kolarov's rocket at the back post would have been a perfect ending, but it cannoned off the post, then Dzeko's nip into the box that managed to hit the other post was almost cruel, given the refs performance.

After a poor start, it was good to see that we did not capitulate. After going one in front and then losing two dodgy goals, it was even better to see that we had the grit to keep going and get another. That point could be very, very valuable at the end of the season. Let's hope the two that Twattenburg stole don't make too much difference!!

Yet agin we are well and truly done by that bent shit. Nothing more to say really. It's fucking depressing to be honest because we may as well not turn up if he is the ref. It's so obviously corrupt it is embarrassing.

He was having none of anything. The yellow cards I can accept to a point. I've watched and read things about how refs see things (obviously) different to us on telly due to eye level perspective and noise. What fucked me off the most was when he booked an arsenal player but stopped play, even though Milner, I think, was on a passage of play which should've meant we should've played an advantage.
Obviously I'm not one for shitty agendas or such clap trap, and I'm not inkling at one here. His display was inept to say the least.
