Arsenal Vs City Post Match Thread

Just got home and agree 100% that Clattenburg was fucking horrendous and his linesman to the left of our fans was no better, City seemed very aggrieved(Rightly so) and stepped it up a gear after going behind, if we had played like that earlier we would have had them on fucking toast, a point is not bad but could have been better.

The mere fact MP has spoken out should tell its own story as he just does not do that.

The linesman was terrible missed at least 3 arselona offsides , there was an obvious offside in the 1st half (when Joe had to come off his line to punch it out) and two in the 2nd half ,also had a better view of the pen incident (about 5 yards away)

After seeing that there was no Yaya and Fernando, I expected the worst, great display from the team, sadly lacking by the ref, Twattenberg, a homer, sorry a HOMER FUCKING SIMPSON display, if ever there was one!!
Aguero was immense, Clichy was my MOTM, closely followed by Silva, can't fault the team display, shame we didn't get the goal at the end that we deserved.
No criticism of the team from me, away from home with a partizan ref, missing key players, character !

It started for me when Sanchez expecting Zabaleta to come through him went to ground, however Zabaleta stopped just short. Clattenberg then retrospectively books him; f#@king unbelievable! A truely shite referee who I still haven't forgiven for his spineless performance at Anfield last season.
There was a passage play that went on a good few touches aaand went out for a throw before the prick brought the ball back for a free kick and booked Lampard.
Exactly how many milliseconds did the prick play advantage for us after the foul and booking (Navas?) with us bearing down on their box?
He was having none of anything. The yellow cards I can accept to a point. I've watched and read things about how refs see things (obviously) different to us on telly due to eye level perspective and noise. What fucked me off the most was when he booked an arsenal player but stopped play, even though Milner, I think, was on a passage of play which should've meant we should've played an advantage.
Obviously I'm not one for shitty agendas or such clap trap, and I'm not inkling at one here. His display was inept to say the least.

Do you not think it happens a bit too often with Clattenberg? He's apparently on the FIFA list yet there's a major fuck up every time he refs us. What he is like for other teams I have no idea but we seem to get the shitty end of the stick from him a bit too much for comfort.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but why wasn't saintly Jack Wilshire booked for his blatant dive very early on?

Thought the amount of free kicks they were getting around our box was going to cost us but we defended them well
Dirty bastard Wilshere. A real piece of shit. Fat, smokes, stuck a finger up to our fans, told a bird to leave her boyfriend because he "is richer", dives upon contact. He's just a horrible southern c**t. I think his elbow on Lampard was deliberate today. He took a kick at Clichy and missed as well and then the penalty. He could of shot one of ours today and he wouldn't have been booked.
The amount of diving by Arsenal players was disgusting, Wilshire, and Sanchez being prime examples, compare with the honesty of our players, just playing football, my Arsenal supporting colleague at work will get torn apart on Monday if he starts eulogising Wilshire, dirty, diving cheat

You know what, I honestly thought there'd been a rule change and he could call play back, rugby style.
Personally I think his inept performance is due to his inability to cope the pace of play at this level. When most of the game was being played down the right he actually went to the Milner and Debuchy tussle and basically said "keep it down lads, there's a game going on over here"
It was like he was turned up to watch Wilshire and Sanchez and no fucker was getting in the way of that.

Forgot to say that at Kings Cross was speaking with a Gooner and I said the ref was shocking, he said " Yes I know, he never gave arsenal anything " , thank god I have a sense of humour

It just goes to show the depth of our squad when we play Arsenal away against their strongest side and come away thinking we should've ripped them a new arsehole.
Totally agree with this.
Our midfield duo missing - one replaced by a 36 year old who was really not match sharp, and another who was out of position.
You can't imagine many teams missing that quality of player in midfield and not suffering .
The arse , riding along on a crest of a wave of their own brilliance and self importance couldn't beat us on their own patch.
Was Ozil the most expensive player on the pitch????

Clattenberg should be made to feel a total outcast at the etihad, he should be verbally abused from the minute he steps foot in our ground, he is a fraud, and I am sick of being a victim of his corruption. Every time he shafts us, the bent twat

Got a text from an arsenal mate after the game complaining about the ref. his thoughts were he gave us everything. I told him he was as deluded as Clattenburg.
