Although i see what you mean with Nasri it won't happen.

As for Milner ... just no. Jack of all trades and master of none, and more importantly, won't create much.
We have Silva and Aguero for that. Nasri goes missing away to Arsenal, has done in every game we've played there since he came to us.

Milner is ideal for workrate in a game like this. What we need is defensive support for Sagna and someone who's always willing to push beyond the last man and whip a cross in. Milner or Navas could do this role but Navas' confidence always seems to be dented in big games, so Milner gets the nod.

Milner and Silva know each other inside-out as well.

Did you see the 6-3? he was man of the match.
Read it again.

Mystic meg time...

I see Pellegrini sticking to his 4-4-2 and we get out possessed but come away with a 1-1 draw.

I would go for:

Hart
Zabaleta Kompany Mangala Kolarov
Dinho Yaya
Navas Silva Milner
Aguero

Willy, Demichelis, Clichy, Fernando/Lampard, Nasri, Sinclair, Dzeko

Arsenal away is one of the games we struggle with most, and is one of the few games where we don't have the majority of possession. For this reason, hitting them on the counter could be key. Navas' and Aguero's pace will be key to that. I feel an extra body in midfield could help combat their midfield 5 (which overran our 2 at Wembley), hence Silva behind Aguero. There's plenty of width with Zabba, Kolarov and Navas, opening up the pitch for the likes of Yaya and Silva to create in the middle. And with Kolarov at left back up against Sanchez, Milner comes in on that side for extra support. I also feel that Mangala should start, as:
(a) he needs to start sometime, and better to get him going before Bayern and Chelsea.
(b) He can help combat the pace in their front line (Welbeck, Sanchez, Chamberlain) with his superior athleticism.
(c) His ability in the air could help from offensive (and defensive) set-pieces

I doubt that's what Manuel will do though, If I were to guess how we will line up:

Hart
Zabaleta Kompany Demichelis Clichy
Nando (If fit) Yaya
Nasri Aguero Silva
Dzeko

bring in mangala for this , he can also play left back , kolarov is not the best defender , and clichy like nasri and sagna wont handle the shite the moaners/gooners will give them : HART - ZABS , VINNY , MDM , MANGALA - SILVA , FERNANDO , YAYA , DINHO - AGUERO , DZEKO , let them have the ball , playing their pretty patterns , they can also sing about their 3-0 in the community shield , We will take the point s 2-0 towards another title , and they can enjoy their 4th place trophy . Read somewhere that this is their 17th consecutive season in champs league and never won it , sums up wenger , the nearly man.

I sincerely hope Lampard makes his debut in this game. Just to piss Wenger off.

But on a more serious note, I have an alright feeling about this fixture this year, although I do think it would be unwise to play Nasri as he always plays like he has something to prove against arsenal. In all honesty it would be better for Milner or Navas to take his place.

Still I'm slightly confident so 1-3 City

I agree with you, however I do think there is a good chance we field your first option up top with one striker. With Jovetic injured Pellers might think twice about fielding both Dzeko and Aguero at the same time for this game. One of them would need to be saved for the midweek game vs. Bayern and knowing we play Chelsea after that we have to stretch out our striker situation. I think he might field only one just in case of (God forbid) another injury to one of them.

We haven't really hit top form at this stage, and to me the key to this game is Silva. He has been ever so slightly short of top form and that then flows through to the rest of the team. However after watching him play for Spain I am confident that he is returning to his magical ways.

If Silva hits top form I am very confident that we will do what is required to win the game. I also think that Giroud is a significant loss for them, despite the form of Welbeck in the England game.
