Arsenal will be there or abouts this season.

Nay arsenal are a selling club with no ambition.I think newcastle have more ambition than them some of there signings have impressed me!!!!!The scout graham carr his doing a fantastic job for them

To sell Rvp to that lot who for the past two decades have ridiculed their club with fights on the pitch rooneys dive pizzagate horse faces antics as well as attacks on their fans outside old trafford after that game? It must be the lowest act of capitulation by any club, you don't sell to them under any circumstance you do at your own peril? If I was an arsenal fan now I would be on anti depressants!!!

eeh its a hard business decision mate. You either sell him or you lose out on 24 million for a player who doesnt want to play for you. Also i doubt they just decided to sell him to man u and would have prefered to sell him abroad. but the player has all the power when the contract is coming to the end. hell we cant get rid of adebayor, so it doesnt matter what the club wants, the player has far more power than people assume

Well I done Podolski to be top scorer. Arsenal always get a decent striker in that scores goals for fun look over the years. Ian Wright , Dennis Bergkamp , Henry and RVP all scored goals for fun. I think Podolski will be the man to take up that mantle for them this season. 33/1 done him each way with Paddy Powers.

With the RVP money I wouldnt be shocked to see him go out and bring in another player or 2 to strenghten the squad but he seems to scout his players well and never seems to rush buy normally.

Youre right , arsenal play a system where the main striker usually always gets a ton of goals . If you look at rvps goals there were only 3 which another striker shouldnt finish if they were in that position , liverpool away , everton home , tottenham home . The rest were on a plate for him , of course his movement has some bit to do with it . But arsenal have previously had adebayor get a 30 goal season , hell when rvp was out at the start of 2010 season , chamakh scored 11 goals in 18 or so games. So your bet isnt very far fetched , I may do the same .

Yes they will be there or thereabouts, there or there abouts 4th place as they always are, they're nothing more than a sparkly version of spurs these days, a stepping stone for bigger and better things.

Podolski has done it for Germany regular for years his goalscoring record was something else.

This is not going to be their season. But they have certainly improved, despite selling RVP and Song.
