Arsenal will be there or abouts this season.

4th at absolute best with rvp on the way somewhere most lkely. If spurs and Liverpool stabalise a bit could be much worse for arsenal. not much to fear in that side anymore.

Even without RVP we will still finish ahead of Spurs, and definitely Liverpool. We've heard every year how we are done when Henry left, when Fabregas/Nasri left.

People dont know enough about Giroud and Podolski, both will score goals for us. Wenger has never had problems building teams to make goalscorers more effective - hell, Adebayor scored 30 here.

If rvp stays >>>> Arsenal will get top 4
If rvp goes and spurs don't sign a striker >>> Arsenal will get top 4
If rvp goes and spurs sign a decent striker >>> Arsenal wont make it to top 4

You hope Giroud and Podolski will score goals for you, and Arsenal have been declining. You qualified on the last day thanks to a dodgy keeper.

Arsenal should keep RVP - sell him and you might not make the top 4. That's evident to all

We've been in a similar position for the last number of years, so not declining really. Evident to all? Same people who have been predicting that for the last 5 years and guess what, we are still in the CL.

We got 3rd last year because we got 70 pts over the season. More than Spurs, Chelsea, Liverpool.

Wenger's never had problems making goalscorers even better, not overly worried. With RVP staying we could with a bit of luck push the Manc clubs, without him we're in a battle for CL spots but I'd still expect us to get it. Spurs looks in more disarray with an overrated manager, Modric leaving, no good strikers, no squad depth.

How many points did you finish behind us?

used to be a time when you were automatically considered for the title, now it's can you get in the top 4. Your players recognise that Arsenal are no longer in contention even if your fans don't.

I don't neccessarily agree with this.

Yes, RVP would be a big loss considering the number of goals he scored last season, but replacing him with Podolski, Giroud & Cazorla is bloody good business and gives them more depth and the platform to share the goals around the squad.

I also think they'll top Liverpool AND Spurs. For me, if they can keep hold of Song, then regardless of whether Sahin goes there or Liverpool, they'll be scrapping for 3rd with Chelsea (unless Chelsea can gel very quickly).
