Mans ingenuity never ceases to amaze, the brain power and skill to construct and send that to the Moon is almost beyond comprehension.
We can do some amazing things when we come together with one common goal.15000mph now.
One low Earth orbit, then a booster to reach high Earth orbit for a full 24 hour orbit round the Earth and then a final rocket burn to reach over 25000mph to escape the Earths gravity.
Amazing that humanity can do this.
Remember that NASA's current equivalent budget is about a third of what it was during the Apollo launches. We can do some amazing things when we come together with one common goal.
So good to see them get away safe. Long way to go, and such a big mission.
Although it’s quite strange that we did this over 50 years ago. When you think about the technological advances, this is fairly shit.Mans ingenuity never ceases to amaze, the brain power and skill to construct and send that to the Moon is almost beyond comprehension.
Fairly shit lifting 2600 ton off the floor and into space hmmm .Although it’s quite strange that we did this over 50 years ago. When you think about the technological advances, this is fairly shit.
In 50 years time, some will be denying it ever happened.Mans ingenuity never ceases to amaze, the brain power and skill to construct and send that to the Moon is almost beyond comprehension.

Mike Mercury beat them all to it in Fireball XL5.Although it’s quite strange that we did this over 50 years ago. When you think about the technological advances, this is fairly shit.
Whilst Alan Tracey beat them all off in Thunderbird 3...Mike Mercury beat them all to it in Fireball XL5.
For the watch nerds out there, NASA still issue Omega Speedmasters to astronauts as part of their kit.
Cool as fuck that.
