Re: Arturo Vidal - AMF - Juventus
Can't argue with Vidal's stats for a defensive midfielder..., and isn't he younger than Fernandinho ?

He's a defensive midfielder if anything
Kun, The Wikipeia entry agrees with you.

Nonetheless he has been involved in over 50% of all goals this season - scoring or in assists - in either Serie A and the Champions League matches against Celtic, Chelsea and the group matches.
He is the leading goalscorer with 17 goals in all competitions. Not bad for a defensive midfielder when compared to the likes of Gareth Barry and Javi Garcia who stats are more adjacent to an approximation of zero., though not quite.
To those who think his value is inflated, it's only because Juve have had to turn down 4 bids in the last twelve months, the highest offer being the Bayern one referred to earlier. Thiat was €60m for Vidal and Marchisio together. Manure have also sought to progress a deal on Marchisio and enquired, like us, about Arturo Vidal. Juve, understandably, told them to f*** off. They spoke to officials of the Bianconeri when they beat the rags 0 - 1 in a pre-season friendly.
His all round game is astoundingly good. Great reader of the game, hard tackler, great distribution, good FK taker, consummate taker of penalties and great off the ball movement. The sort of player that Milan crave.
To those on here who question his transfer value I'd say it was well overdue to make a serious attempt to smell some quality coffee.
Notwithstanding that, I think settling for Fernandinho and Isco will give us the foundations of matching the future ambitions of the other top 6 teams next season with just a really good wide player and striker to be added provide the icing on the Blue Moon cake.
