Brighton has a real ale bar in the away end, it blew my mind. I was drinking a nice cask golden ale there last season.Am I alone in wanting a proper ale? A bitter at least ffs
Bitter, you say…Am I alone in wanting a proper ale? A bitter at least ffs
The bog standard Sussex Best they were serving won the gold medal at the Pendle Beer Festival in around 2013 in Colne. A bit like Marston's Pedigree which they served at Pride Park when we were last there in 2008.Brighton has a real ale bar in the away end, it blew my mind. I think this has always been a problem there. Because of the huge area where the turnstiles are, that area of the ground is a bar down. And when you think 109-111 is where a rowdier bunch of lads are who probably like a beer, that one bar in that area is always swamped with fans. What the hell is going on in East Level 1 between 107-110? Horrific trying to get a beer at half time never known it as bad. They have even drafted stewards in to manage the queues as people are getting fucked off scrambling for a pint.
