The new bar area at the back of 115 was rocking at half-time, and the Asahi was flowing, which still tastes good. :-)

The service was slow, but it was rammed and the staff were doing their best.

We'll agree to disagree on that. Vast improvement on last season, and in my opinion is preferable to drinking actual piss. Each to their own though, good luck to you.

Colin Bell L2 yesterday they had “run out” of Asahi and we had to make do with a very sweet fruity cider. By HT the Asahi was back on. I’d sometimes have a bitter or the 7 sons cans, they’re not available now, seems strange just to offer one kind of lager on tap.

The 5th Asahi of the day, in Joes at half time, with a 4-0 lead, and everyone joining in with the cute girl on guitar singing Oasis was FUKIN BRILLIANT !

Where possible in other parts of the ground, even if it's a smaller area, City should roll this bar concept out. It's been a great success. Credit to the person at City for coming up with this bar idea and pushing it through to completion.

Agreed. Thought the atmosphere was great in there yesterday, especially at half time. And credit to the bar staff who, for the first time in living memory, managed to get through the queues efficiently, knew what they were doing and even knew about the season card discount. Top marks.

South stand L1 new bar area is quality, even open after the game for an hour or so. As the pints were already pre pulled at full time I was getting 2 for the price of 1 as they would only be poured away if they didn't sell, there were tables full of pints which makes it faster to be served aswell.

A big thumbs up to the team who re-designed that area of open space to the best non corporate(and even some cooperate) bar in the ground.
