Ashes 2017/18

If it’s true that Ali has problem with his hand why didn’t we play another Spinner! We are gambling in an ashes series with unfit players piss poor for me.

Its bollocks to be fair what bancroft is saying, covering for Bairstow and playing it down. Who in their right mind says hello by sticking their nut on someone, it just doesn't happen. Comes across as being a real drink culture in the england cricket team, which is fine if your not in the news and winning, but if we get hammered 4/5-0 then its simply not good enough.

Very possibly, but like the person above says, if there's any more to it you can guarantee the cctv will be released somewhere by someone.

Was it you that said you saw Bairstow out in Manchester at a casino at 4am with Stokes? I tend to agree with Bayliss - individuals making daft choices when on a night out rather than there being a drinking problem throughout the team. There doesn't appear to be a Flintoff or Botham etc within this lot so really it's just a case of not being a dickhead.

Not me. maybe it isn’t a drinking culture, but like you say these guys need to be smarter and not put themselves in these positions, it’s a no brainer really. We’re winning and people laugh it off, get a good hammering and it could seriously effect their careers.

Pretty quickly being dismissed on Twitter unfortunately. Not least because he was dropped by New Balance after his arrest so unlikely to be using their kit.

Police have now passed the file over to the CPS, so they believe enough info for him to bé done.

Looking like game over for the Ashes.
