Ashley Young's dive is good for City

Last weekend he did it, and I am sure that was a factor in Wigan escaping 2 good penalty shouts at the DW.

He's done it again in a game they were always going to win which means next time Utd have a penalty shout there's going to be a moment's doubt in the ref's mind, and that's all it takes.

Could be crucial now as Utd's remaining games are likely to be tight affairs: Everton, City, Swansea and Sunderland.

Refs aren't cheats. They are humans who are conned, and they watch the TV like the rest of us.

Was Chris Foy conned? He's bent that's for sure.

Rubbish. He was conned by a cheating twat. Young stood on the defenders foot with his right leg which stopped him from withdrawing it before young managed to bring his left leg into play and then jump like a mating salmon. At full speed and in front of 75000 scumbags I think many refs would have given it. It was very well executed piece of cheating by the scumbag. All the blame should lay with him and not the ref, although he is not the best.

Correct - he is the long lost twin of Suarez.

I expect refs to give United penalties nowadays , especially at the Swamp ...

and i'm also expectin' Everton to roll over for them next week at Old Tarfford , like they normally do ......
Roll over? What a ridiculous thing to say. Why would the name 'Manchester City' be in thoughts of Moyes and Co next week? Has it not crossed your mind that maybe, just maybe Everton will be wanting to finish above their City rivals in the league, especially after the FAC semi defeat? 'Rolling over', as you say, will hamper that possibility, perhaps even making it impossible.
We're not even nearly at match day yet and the 'roll over' comments have appeared. Quite frankly it's embarrassing and rather arrogant to suggest that is what happens, all for the sake that Manchester City don't succeed.

It's hardly embarrassing when some of their own fans have been saying the same thing. It seems some of the despicable spineless scouse shitbags would rather United win the league just to piss Liverpool off, even if it means finishing below them.

There's nothing wrong with suggesting Moyes will send his team out at Old Trafford to roll over and take whatever Sir Drinksalot gives them; he does it every single year.

This has become so blatant now that the media isn't even denying it. Look at this in the Express, some of the wording looks straight out of Bluemoon, proving that such thoughts aren't exclusive to us:

THEY will be striking an extra medal for referees if Manchester United go on to claim their 20th league title.

Certainly the dark arts of the game and the failure of referees to spot a dive are having a significant impact on United’s title progress.

For the third home game in succession they got the benefit of a controversial decision that will have had Manchester City and their followers raging at their TV screens – again.

First, there was Michael Carrick’s late trip on Danny Murphy that should have earned Fulham a stonewall penalty and a point – only for referee Michael Oliver to rule it out.

Then came United’s early penalty against QPR when Ashley Young – in an offside position – went over under the slightest of touches from Shaun Derry, whose frustration was compounded by a red card from Lee Mason.

Yesterday Young found himself in the eye of the storm again for an even more outrageous dive to win another early spot-kick.

He threw out his left leg to make sure he made contact with Ciaran Clark, then twisted his body into a dive that, yes, Tom Daley would have been proud of.

Referee Mark Halsey bought it but when he sees the replay he will know he should have booked Young for simulation and awarded a free-kick to Aston Villa.

When Young sees it he will surely just be as embarrassed. He is not alone.
They've missed out Wigan's perfectly good disallowed first goal.

I make that 4 clear-cut potentially match-changing decisions going the wrong way in their last 4 games. And who were the beneficiaries on each occasion?

That's some coincidence. Even I'm now beginning to come round to the idea of there being some sort of 'agenda'.

What amazes me is that this proves there is little loyalty in football.
Young was up against a team he left less than a year ago. A team who are on the edge of a relegation scrap, yet he does em over like that.
Today so many players refuse to celebrate when they score a against a former club, Young it appears would not give a f*@k if his former team went down!
Class on and off the pitch!!!

He's rightly getting slated for it too this morning. It's a Young slate-fest on talksport this morning. Makes for some easy, Monday morning listening.

Get off your high horse and check the stats. This has nothing to do with City it's about the old pals act with Moyes and Shakin Bacon.

Just a question did Andy Burton off sky, ask the question, "did you dive Ashley?" in his post match interview?
Thought not
