Assault, leg breakers and elbows.

Yep and Cowards shouldn't be refereeing top flight games at all, never mind a derby.

Or...it's got something to do with betting, especially in-game betting.

For him to decide that he is either,
a. lying (which includes, but is not limited to, acting outside of the law whether motivated by cowardice or not) or
b. blind, or
c. mad, or
d. operating on the margins for money, or
e. operating on the margins due to threats (blackmail).

Re: Assault, leg breakers and elbows.

I can understand that Wellbecks challenge looked 50/50 on the telly but reading some quotes from Zabba he barely mentions Fellaini's elbow but says Wellbecks was a potential leg breaker.

I think the FA need to answer the following:

Why wasn't Fellaini red carded?
Why wasn't Shrek booked for his lunge on Dzeko and why did Oliver constantly allow him to have running conversations with him when he wasn't even captain?

Have a look at the Wellshite foul on Zabba (borderline red IMO) and see who is moaning at the ref about the decision. Have a look at most of the game and see who is whinging about most decisions.

That is a damned good point mate, that was doing my head in, the rf was quiet happy to hear him out every time as you say.

Re: Assault, leg breakers and elbows.

The cheating cnut obviously saw mic elbow Zabba to give him a yellow...so the question is,if he saw the elbow why didn't he give him a red?

Bottling the Fellaini red was very poor, as was failing to book Rooney after he'd booked Fernandinho for a similar offence, just minutes before. But overall we saw very little of him, which is the way it should be.

totally agree, think there is a fair bit of paranoia on this thread.

We've got away with plenty of decisions at home this season
Sniff, sniff. I smell RAG.

you'd be wrong.

1 really bad decision last night, Wellbecks was in the red / yellow category, some refs give the red some don't, you deal with it. Fellani should have gone but he didn't, the ref got most decisions correct, people here whinging about Kompany getting booked when it was a booking all day, total paranoia,

Rooney's foul right after Ferna got yellow, no card given
Welbeck's dirty kick at Silva, nothing given
Fellaini's assault on Zaba, yellow card and should have been red
Welbeck's foul on Zaba, out of control dangerous challenge, should have been red
No yellow given to Rafael
etc. etc.
There were a multitude of decisions he got wrong. He looked terrified at multiple points of the game and simply bottled all the decisions. He let Rooney continue to attempt to influence him throughout the game and either didn't have the guts to make the big decisions, was too incompetent to, or wasn't prepared to send a united player off at the swamp.

Re: Assault, leg breakers and elbows.

Oliver did the usual bottle job you expect at OT. Every red card for the rags gets knocked down to a yellow, then all yellows get knocked down to just a warning. Standard tbh. Our bookings were exactly as you'd expect, textbook bookings for cinical fouls, no complaints at all, yet they got away with doing the exact same thing 4 or 5 times in the game.

Welbecks is the one that really annoys me, as it was just so dangerous. Some people seem to think that him slipping makes it ok, but it just highlights how little control he had. Reckless, dangerous and zero control, certain red card. Zaba is incredibly lucky to not have a serious injury and the **** had the audacity to complain that he was even booked!

Probably because Zaba, being a hard ****, doesn't worry about getting a broken nose/eyesocket/teeth/jaw as it doesn't endanger his career, a broken leg on the other hand......
