We do have a fair proportion of knobs but it's to be expected Manchester is a big City and City are a big club I can't remember seeing much Blue on Blue stuff in the past but I was only a kid at the time, I think it's more of a society problem rather than football

i get out to remonstate with the guy who twatted my car and was subsequantly pinned by my neck to the car by two of his mates.

one guy threatens me and starts grabbing at me, by this time two of my mates walking past had seen this and stepped in to push the guys away.

This one guy then carries on threatening me walking at the side of my car as i edged through traffic.

now these inbreds were in their 40's and should know better.

one thing i will say is if you come on here....let it be known that i will see you at the game on your own and i will have my vengeance

I know you are quite well known on this forum but I'm sorry it has to be said

I find it very strange that you would come on here and make threats when all you had to do was get out and deal with this knob face to face

being some sort of keyboard warrior just make you sound very sad

you had the chance to man up and grow a pair you declined that chance so you really should just STFU

Might have had kids/wife in the car to look after and it was one bloke on at least three if you read his statement. He might be old fashioned and believe in one on ones rather than a handicap of three on one. So, in summation, total bollocks and STFU yourself.

Interesting thread. I had a bit of an altercation myself today. I'm 24 and have had a season ticket going with my family since I was 9. I'll admit that I like a moan at city at times and almost find it a cathartic experience. Today I got annoyed just after it went to 2-1. I could see all game that we should have started tevez instead of balotelli so I said out loud that I thought it was a joke and had a bit of go at nobody in particular. The guy in front, who sits their with his kid, turned round, called me a w****r and told me to f*** off whilst hurling other abuse directly at me.

Now I don't care that I had a moan at an off time, I would never turn round and have a go at someone in such a threatening manner. There are plenty of people who sit around me who I completely disagree with and find somewhat annoying but they have their opinions, I have mine and that is their right to say what they want as long as it isn't racist or impacts directly on someone else. But for this guy to turn round and abuse me like that in front of his kid when he's seen me turning up week in week out for years is a disgrace. I don't care if it's the derby and people are worked up, it's not on.

I'd extend it to a general philosophy that recently supporting city is less fun. Particularly away. I go to a lot less aways now because I find myself surrounded by a bunch of drunks more interested in kicking off with the other set of fans than watching the game. I love city and I love football but today was a real low point, nobody has ever abused me like that at city or in any other walk of life and if things carry on I'd half consider stop going altogether.

Are you talking about the awful experience of him being sworn at? Or the away fans thing? (I have to say I can't remember the last time I saw a group of City fans away have a fight with a group of home supporters)

I was referring to the latter as I am often startled by the potty mouths of some City fans.

What?? How do you know who was with him? Kids, missus, someone elses kids he'd be responsible for. Well out numbered?
