Very poor with the exception of Kova
Gvadiol may be great in a few years, sorry don't rate Doku and Nunes,
again Doku may come good with time, Palmer is great now, I'd like to see a year on loan.
This.
At the moment Doku is a good player but not yet up to the standards we need and imho weakens us as very little end product and poor ball retention.
Its not just him though, we had an awful transfer window adding to Phillips previously. We have a great spine but a serious lack of pace and goal threat in the team atm with Kev and Phil often bailing us out but as we saw v Arsenal, when they are not on it, its hard to see where any creativity or goals will come from.
We lost goals in those who left and replaced them with more technically great players but who offer nothing in the final third.
Saying all that, the best business we can do atm is get a proper set piece coach in, due to our game we get so many corners yet are simply awful at them. When struggling to break teams down this is a huge wasted opportunity and Arsenal, Dippers etc seem far more dangerous at us from them.

Every draw we have this thread resurfaces.
No mention that at the start of April the treble is still there for the taking just negativity and moaning.
Fucks up with you all.

Most clubs would have been delighted to have had the same signings as us but I think that Pep felt let down by those who left. Gundogan, Mahrez and Laporte were quality players who left for an easier life and I don't think he thought that Palmer would prefer to boost his England status in place of trophy accumulation but that is what has happened. With KDB missing most of the season too, it is of little surprise that whatever happens now is unlikely to make this season as spectacular as the rest of the Pep years.

This.

If we'd signed vintage Messi, Maradona and Romario, they'd still find it hard playing against a very good side who played with a deep back 6 with the rest sat deep in front of them.

Throw in a ref who doesn't give blatant bookings and then they can almost do whatever they want to stop us.

Yes the signings could do better, but give them open games and they all usually look good. Get the first goal and it's different usually.

Would like to see Bobb get more of Doku's minutes at the moment. Despite not being a big money signing he's more polished. Doku's got potential but he's very raw in terms of his touch and decision making in our system.

We just ping corners into their keeper. Its produced nothing and yet we persist week in week out. Brainless .
