It's happened many times before and will do again. No matter how 'bad' some folk think we were, we had enough good chances to be out of sight, but, when they don't go in, the sucker punch is just round the corner.
2 dropped points, yes, but, it could have been worse,and we're still 5 points clear of our most dangerous opposition. That said, Spurs are next up, and we definitely owe them a good hiding or 2.

Foden wasn’t poor. In fact, the team as a whole were well in control until we give them something to cheer.
Bernardo was getting kicked off the park and I think that was why he was hooked

Last fifteen we lost control of the game. We were anxious and indecisive.
And doing random bizarre stuff. Booting it long and aimlessly.

Gerrard called a time out with fifteen to go. So that may have had a bearing on the way we responded.

Foden gave away possesion once in the whole game.

Soton, Brighton, Everton, Palace ,Wolves away all will be harder imo than this mediocre Villa. also all top6 teams as well.
really hope the next busy period will hit the CL teams harder than us. Poo, Chelsea, Spurs hopefully drops lots of points in next 2 months in the league.

we pretty much have to play 6 CL games until end of October, thats pretty heavy schedule with some top games in league as well like Spurs h,United h, Arsenal a, Pool a.

I we come out of that lot of games at the end of October top of the league, the league should nailed on

I also suspect people underestimate the difficulty in facing a team like Villa (with a decent squad) at their place, when they have started badly and fighting for their lives.

And where getting a point is celebrated like a win and keep their manager in post for at least another 3 or 4 games.

Ok that's a good point what do you suggest we do ??
We could scream and shout wind ourselves up, have hissy fits and knee wobbles but it wont change the result.
1 point isnt as good as 3 points but its better than none.
I can live with that,because shit really does happen.

lets not forget that this Villa team put 2 past us on our most important game of last season

You can see the point he's making, though, right? Arsenal just lost their game for making offensive subs chasing a game. So it does pose the question of how many teams win, lose or draw after a set of subs that chase the game.

If it were a noticeable thing, loads of games would be won in the last few minutes by the team that was losing/drawing after an hour.
