Aston Villa (A) - Post-Match Thread

Closes eyes and holds breath ... anybody else think Dean did just fine? Yeah, he missed a call here and there, but he got the 2 non-PK's right, and he didn't hand out a single card thru 20 fouls in a physical match. He even let some guys get in his face and scream and was tolerant of it, let the steam escape sorta. It was a fun contest to watch, and he should get a little credit by the way he reffed it. shrug, seen worse ...

I thought he gave a couple harsh fouls on Dias in the first half that looked like he was ready to give before the sequence was even over but yeah, I think he wasn't nearly as bad as some are saying.
 
And that folks is the sort of game that wins you the title.

We looked jaded the second half, but that first half was phenomenal.

Those boys will sleep tonight, they deserve it.
