Yes I remember it well. I was working in Birmingham at the time and it was the first match I managed to go to that season. A friend sorted me a ticket.

I seem to recall the City supporters being in the Holte End for that match?

I was there and remember it well but the Tommy Booth goal vs Everton semi final at villa park in 1969 is still one of my greatest memories.

This will be tough, they were very compact and organized against Leicester but still maintained a threat on the counter. Really need to be on it from the first minute and pass them off the park. Don’t give away cheap possession to allow counters.

Be an interesting if he starts Aguero, who protects the ball well, or Jesus, who presses better. Might be time to give Sterling a rest as he’s been off form for a while despite scoring a few.

Yeah, Stones in top form and it’s a clear improvement. All just a matter of opinion but in this current moment, I prefer Rodri-Gundogan to Stones-Rodri
