My greatest memory of villa park Paul power semi final free kick boom what a day will never forget that day.

Same here. Stood on the Holte End that day, near the dividing fence and about 20 or 25 steps up from the front. Had a fantastic view of Power's free kick. It looked in from about half way to the goal. Cue bedlam among the hordes of blues in Villa Park that day.

I was about the same spot. I had been in French Jail the Thursday night before. A little bit drunk after too much vino , and lost i had climbed a badly placed fence and the gendarmes had spotted me. I pleaded with them to let me go to catch the early ferry on Saturday.Showed them my ticket and said we might not get to a semi again, . Anyhow they let me go and i managed to get there.

I am sure i was absolutely directly behind the PP freekick.

I’m watching this with a few of the old school Villa firm. Paul Brittle and a couple of others who live over here.
Should be fun.
As an aside they all wax lyrical about City’s old boys, some of the stories are great. Just glad I was too young to be involved, they’re all fucking mental! Haha!
