Aston Villa (H) | PL | Post-match Thread

Grealish is a likeable lad with a great personality but he will never be worth what we paid for him and he will never be a world class winger - should have kept Cole Palmer and saved ourselves a lot of cash

Good game, thought the first half was completely saved by Rodri. He really is the MVP of our team. Out of all the players, felt Gvardiol, Doku, Foden and Rodri shined the most.

That hesitation Grealish has when he's on the ball is killing him, Pep was urging him to push forward all the time and he can't seem to do it, which is frustrating.

So much diving by the Villa players! Way too many soft frees for literally nothing, but I think that's an issue across the Premier League in general. The VAR checks really need to get quicker too.

On a different note, imagine being a grown adult in 2024 and still feeling the need to shout f**got from the crowd at a player on the pitch. And I'm talking about a City supporter doing it, for the record.
