That was a good one. I thought we played ok despite the ghost of Gundo haunting the midfield. OReilly is superb. Gvardiol too. Doku and Nunes for the winner....that goal just needed Rico involved and the forum would have melted!

Firstly I said to my son before KO Doku would come on and we will win 2-1.
Secondly I thought we were immense off the ball and that made the difference.
Thirdly, Im liking O Reilly more each time he plays. For me he is one of the first on the team sheet now.
Fourthly, Pep is a genius bc even during a transformation and serious injury problems we will still get into the CL and could still possibly win the FA cup.
Thanks to all the players who gave it their all tonight.

Well that was fun in the end.

Thought it was a terrific game of tactical chess with few mistakes defensively on either side.

Surprised VAR got involved with the penalty, but that bar gets moved around…

Thought Kovacic and O’Reilly were our standouts, but Bernardo was much better tonight too.

Mathias Nunes. Matchwinner.

I was surprised by your game plan as you are a better team than what was on display tonight. Maybe one eye on the Semi. Was buzzing Mcginn didn’t start
McGinn can play on occasions. Tonight I was happy to see that he looked like a Scottish international and championship player. Match looked too big for him..

He came out with this small time playground whopper pre-match as well.

We're champions until the dippers lift it you bellend.
I find it weird that Liverpool have got so many Asian fans, in my experience they are up there with Newcastle and Leeds as having the most racist support

If they say Villa were poor, it gives them a reason to say we were shit or lucky.
Think we played well and kept them quite up front. Other than the penalty and I think they may of hit the post early on ;) don't think they had many other chances.

The Villa Manager had them set up to defend and not to lose, He didn't fancy taking us on or playing attacking football, Yes, City was at home, and the old dogs can still play and bite you if you don't respect us,

But Pep was cool and held his nerve with the sub late on, Yes, a point would have been ok, but Pep doesn't settle for a point, and Doku with that little bit of magic and Nunes wins the game, Great managers make choices like tonight and live and die by them,

Great three points and fully deserved. I thought we edged the first half and were by far the better side in the second half. I am surprised by their lack of ambition, I think they came for the point hence all the time wasting. It's great to get a last minute winner against sides that waste that amount of time just putting one foot in front of the other.
Mad scenes at the end.

Villa are a small time mentality. From the first minute they set out to get a point and waste as much time as possible. We didn’t play great, but at least we tried to find the winner and got exactly what we deserved. Hope Villa get fuck all this season.

Get in there!! Huge win that. Said before I'd take a draw and was willing to settle for it during the match as it still left us in the driving seat. The just couldn't lose it so to get the victory is fantastic and in that manner was brilliant, genuinely one of the best moments of the entire season celebrating that. Have a strong dislike for Villa, they reak of budget dippers so to do that to them as sweet.

Felt like we very brilliant for yhe first 30 minutes. A city of previous tears kind of display. The intensity was there for once, villa started to play around us too easily after that though and the tempo dropped back down which was disappointing to see. We dominated the game though and controlled their big threats extremely well. If we had drew I'd have still said we played well. The experienced lads were all superb and on it and I'm absolutely buzzing for 2 of the most maligned players in the squad in Doku and Nunes to combine for the winner and show their worth to the blind.

Great win, great performance (for once) need to follow that up now. Easiest remaining fixtures on paper, so no excuses. Villa now 4 points off with 4 remaining, we'd have to be seriously shit to allow them to creep back into the mix, so realistically just Chelsea to be concerned with and they've got some incredibly tricky fixtures that they don't look like winning. Don't even have to worry about forest or newcastle after that even though I do think there's no reason we can't finish third.
