Good performance, and good win please.

Pep has his mojo back.

He looks happy again.

When Pep is happy, the team looks happy.

Happy days.

I disagree. Even prime Eden Hazard always struggled to get anything from Walker. I know he has the tendency of doing brain farts from time to time but when he’s on it, he gives the best of premier league attackers a torrid time.

Out of interest are you suggesting that Grealish couldn’t also take Cancelo to the cleaners?
I agree. Walker is his own worst enemy when he thinks he's got it easy.

Ederson
Cancelo
Stones
Dias
Kev
Gundogan
Foden
Add four more:
One of Rodri/Dihno (Preferably Rodri as Dihno should not play 2ice in a week).
One of Sterling/Bernado ( Probably Sterling as Bernado is more like Foden)
One of Jesus/Ferran (Probably Jesus coz he needs that confidence and game time)
One of (Walker/Zinchencko as I prefer Cancelo to either on their side. So what side we wanna play Cancelo determines who starts.

Do not Start, but bring on if needed: Mahrez.
Agree with everything but Mahrez. Can't remember one game where he made an impact as a sub.

KDB apparently carrying a knock according to some media outlets , would rather him be rested for the FA Cup than miss the Villa game , we need to keep the pressure on the Rags if we win i think Fulham are good enough to beat the Rags

If Villa win their 3 games in hand (this is one of them) then they would be above us in second.

They are without a doubt the best side we have faced in the league for a few months and while they've had disruption from covid, they've also had more than 2 weeks rest and time to prepare for us.
Not if they were self isolating properly ;-)

People I know covid is going around but some worse than others but please keep Mendy from any starting 11 he is dangerous in anything we do going fwd
We actually look decent now down each flanks with Walker, Cancelo & Zinchenko
Sticking someone in who can't cross a fucking road nevermind a ball to a City player & then watching Mendy trying to get his feet moving to even controll the ball

No thanks not for me or any League or Champions league game

Stick him in against Cheltenham thats what I say

His stats this season certainly back that up. 0 assists, 0 big chances created. Cross accuracy 1 out of 13. He has scored though! I’m with you. We are on a great run. Villa have looked good this season. We can’t take any chances.

Every game feels huge now. Would be great to win this and put some pressure on United who play after this match.

Hard to predict any line up these days but

Ederson

Walker
Stones
Dias
Cancelo

Rodri
Gundogan
De Bruyne

Sterling
Jesus
Foden

Wouldn’t surprise me to see Mahrez or Bernardo start though and play a false 9 again.

Is There a underlining dislike of the poor lad

Great to see us taking advantage of set pieces against Palace, especially corners which normally might as well be a goal kick. Should be another good game, Villa will have a go and with our miserly defence and the quality of KDB, Gundog Torres etc in midfield I'm pretty confident - more than I was before Brighton/Palace.

Torres!

They should be pretty fresh. Not sure how their disrupted training will affect them but it'll be a tough game.

thought he was playing well until his latest set back, ive no problem seeing him in the line up generally but for consistency wouldnt want to see too many changes in a tough fixture, same line up for me maybe foden in with a false 9.
