I am expecting a big response after that debacle this week. We need to get our fluidity back starting with the back 4 . Walker, Dias Leadership Laporte and Ake. It’s a big shame about John Stones missing. Foden to play wide with Grealish inside. Then onto Wednesday with the same. From now to the end of the season we need to show this pisspot of a league that when the Trojan horse is in town, there’s no fu@£ing hiding. So please Pep get them armoured up and stop messing with it.

Not sure anyone knows what our best team is though.

I’d like to see Dias start and hope for a more direct approach.

When Walker plays in a traditional fullback position instead of a side center back he offers good offensive contribution with his pace and overlapping - maybe not as good as Cancelo but still well enough. We can see it from Jack's derby goal.

Ake and Walker are put regularly in the center back position right now and you cannot ask too much from there.

Pep's new 3-4-2-1 system put one extra man in the midfield to make up the lacking from Halaand pressing comparing to false 9. Thus our wing play suffers. The real problem is that the striker must deliver enough output to justify the sacrifice the team makes for him.
