I don’t know why Cancelo’s reputation on here has taken such a hit recently, especially as a right back. He was one of our most dangerous players against Newcastle and this is exactly the sort of game where he thrives. I would always prefer a fully fit Walker against a world class attacking player such as Vinicius, but this game is tailor made for Cancelo in either of the full back positions.
I take your point about the level of opposition. Although he can produce worldly passes and shots, we will have more than enough on the pitch to score without him.
However he is also more unreliable than Ake defensively, and the very last thing we want is them getting a goal, either on the break or from a set piece.
I’ll stick with Ake thanks.

Dawned on me yesterday-its so bloody obvious.

So important we behave when we win it.
Not one for these pitch invasions myself but everytime I've seen us do one there's been no hastle. Just hope if there is one tomorrow it's the same cos you can guarantee they'll be hawkishly looking for even the slightest indiscretion.

Just had a dream about Sunday, City beat Villa 8-6, Liverpool lose to Wolves 3-2, so there you go, get your bets on.
You sure they wern't the lottery numbers, were you woken mid dream?
I'm straight down the offie for my ticket, see you in the tunnel club next year

Banging on about pitch invasions on BBC this morning. Point deductions, blah, blah, blah. You just know they're building it up for you know what...
If anything the recent pitch invasions have protected us, unless tomorrow’s results in serious injury or death. They can’t deduct points from City without taking similar action against Forest and Everton. And it would cause far too much disruption if they did that.

I expect they’ll bring in a raft of punishments for future pitch invasions, but starting from next season

Yeah, the notion that they'd just arbitrarily strip us of a title whilst others went unpunished is a bit paranoid. Wouldn't surprise me though if City ramp up the security significantly ahead of the final whistle tomorrow. In the past they've just let it happen, but in the current climate they probably wouldn't want the adverse publicity it would generate.
